As per the education system of India the division are awarded on the following basis :-
1st Division :- If the overall aggregate in the examination is at least 60%.
2nd Division :- If the overall aggregate in the concerned examination lies between 30% to 45%( 45% inclusive ).
3rd Division :- In case one manages to secure an aggregate which lies between 30% ( 30% inclusive ) to 45%.
The basic thing about securing good aggregate in any examination is knowing the pattern of examination and preparing according to that. As you are concerned about scoring good marks in board examination then you must go thoroughly through your prescribed textbook i.e; textbook by NCERT. Then you must go through the last year papers of same examination to have the right idea about the pattern of examination so that you can answer in the scoring way. http://entrance-exam.net/forum/general-discussion/how-much-should-i-score-class-10th-get-1st-division-how-should-i-study-get-score-2159748.html

Step 1. Make use of the chemical formula to determine the number of atoms of each element in the compound.
Step 2. Multiply the atomic weight of each element with its number of atoms present in the compound.
Step 3. Add up all and assign unit as grams/mole.
Example :
Identify the molar mass of calcium nitrate, Ca(NO3)2 ?
Solution: Since calcium nitrate contains one atom of calcium, two atoms of nitrogen and six atoms of oxygen.
Ca: 1 x 40.1 = 40.1
N: 2 x 14.0 = 28
O: 6 x 16.0 = 96
If we add all, 40.1 + 14 + 16 = 164.1
Therefore, the molar mass of Ca(NO3)2 is 164.1 g/mol.

given that,
Two vectors p and q are the sum of 18 and resultant is 12
here,
we have,
sum of magnitude of vector = 18
so,
p + q = 18 ... (1)
and sum of both vectors I. e. resultant = 12
so,
p^-> + q^-> = 12 = R
Now,
ACCORDING TO THE FIGURE,
R² = p² + q² + 2pq cosθ
given R = 12
so,
12² = p² + q² + 2pq cosθ .... (2)
now,
here, since the resultant is perpendicular
so,
value of α = 90°
so,
tanα =
so,
tan90.=
so,
p + qcosθ = 0
qcosθ = -p
now,
putting the value of qcosθ on (2)
12² = p² + q² + 2pqcosθ
144 = p² + q² + 2p(-p)
144 = p² + q² - 2p²
q² - p² = = 144
using algebraic identity
a² - b² = (a + b)(a - b)
so,
(q + p)(q - p) = 144
now
from eqn (1)
p + q = 18
putting the values,
18(q - p) = 144
q - p = 144/18
q - p = 8 .....(3)
now,
we have,
q + p = 18 ..(1)
q - p = 8 ...(3)
adding of both equations
q + p + q - p = 18 + 8
2q = 26
q = 26/2
q = 13
now,
putting the value of q in (1)
p + q = 18
p + 13 = 18
p = 18 - 13
p = 5
q = 13
now,
putting the value of p and q on (2)
p² + q² + 2pqcosθ = 144
(5)² + (13)³ + 2(5)(13)cosθ = 144
25 + 169 + 130cosθ = 144
194 + 130cosθ = 144
130cosθ = 144 - 194
130cosθ = -50
cosθ = -50/130
cosθ = -5/13

The grandmother had love and compassion even for animals. In the village she fed the street dogs. In the city she took to feeding the sparrows. She would sit in the verandah. She would break the bread into small bits. She used to throw the crumbs to the sparrows. Hundreds of sparrows would gather around her. Some of them perched on her legs and shoulders. She never shoo’d them away. It was the happiest half-hour of the afternoon for her.
The sparrows paid their silent tribute on her death. They gathered around her dead body. They were in the mourning mood. They didn’t chirrup as usual. Nor did they take any notice of the crumbs of bread thrown to them. They flew away silently when her dead-body was carried off on a wooden stretcher for cremation. In this way, they paid their silent love and tribute to the grand old lady.

The money income which a producer gets from the sale of his product is known as revenue of the firm. It is also called sale proceeds of the firm.
| Revenue of a firm are its money receipts consequent upon the sale of its product. |
The concept of revenue should not be confused with the concept of profit. Profit of a firm is estimated as the difference between revenue and cost related to the production of a commodity (Profit = Revenue – Cost).

Narrator's uncle Khoshrove was an enormous man and had a very large moustache.he was short-tempered, so irritable,impatient. Many times he even stopped people from talking by roaring. He didnt even let his own son tell him that their house was on fire and stopped him as well as the barber (he was having his moustache trimmed) by roaring. This might also show that he was pretty rude and careless.

The narrator’s uncle was considered to be a crazy man. Actually, he was the natural descendant of the crazy streak in the family. He was a huge and powerful man. He had a big strong head with black hair. He was a man of furious nature. He was short tempered and of irritable nature. He would not let anybody talk before him. He would stop him shouting. “It is no harm ; pay no attention to it.”

The given quantity is 0.007 m2.
If the number is less than one, then all zeros on the right of the decimal point (but left to the first non-zero) are insignificant. This means that here, two zeros after the decimal are not significant. Hence, only 7 is a significant figure in this quantity.
