The scientific naming of an organism is called nomenclature. The system of scientific naming or nomenclature we use today was introduced by Carolus Linnaeus in the eighteenth century. In Binomial nomenclature, the first name is the generic name beginning with a capital letter whereas the second name is the species name which begins with a small letter. Example – Homo sapiens where Homo is a genus name and sapiens is a species name.
Certain conventions are followed while writing the scientific names:
1. The name of the genus begins with a capital letter.
2. The name of the species begins with a small letter.
3. When printed, the scientific name is given in italics.
4. When written by hand, the genus name and the species name have to be underlined separately.

The stern of the Wavewalker met a gigantic wave with a fearful breaking crest. A tremendous explosion took place and water surged into the ship, the narrator's head smashed into the wheel. He was thrown overboard and began to sink below the waves. Death seemed to be calling him as he watched the boat near capsizing, her masts almost horizontal. Then a wave hurled her upright, his lifeline jerked into tautness and he began to be whirled around by the waves like a rag doll. Somehow he found his way back to the wheel, lined up the stern for the next wave and hung on for dear life.

The narrator wanted to undertake the same voyage that Captain James Cook had made 200 years ago. The journey started from Plymouth in England and ended in a small island in the South Indian Ocean in Amsterdam.
Along with his family, the narrator had been making preparations for this journey for 16 years. They got a huge wooden-hulled boat professionally designed just for this journey. It was also tested for durability and the family also employed the services of two crewmen to assist them.
While the first lap of the journey was peaceful, trouble brewed later and the family faced many difficulties. However, they were not afraid to die if they died together. In the end, the narrator and his family reached the destination safe and sound.

The colossal wave wreaked fatal havoc on the boat. It hit it with an explosion. Its force was so intense that it threw the author many feet away from the boat. But the lifeline kept him safe. It also capsized the boat; fortunately another wave put it erect again. Author's ribs cracked; his mouth was filled with broken teeth and blood. The decks were smashed; there was water, water in the boat. A huge hole in the starboard side let the water in in torrents. The very keel of the boat was shaken with the blow of the wave. Sue, author's daughter had received serious head injury. Their very survival was in danger.

Aram’s cousin Mourad was considered the natural descendant of the crazy streak in the tribe. He had a passion and craze for horses and riding. Before him was his Uncle Khosrove. He was a man of very furious temper. He could stop anybody from talking by his roaring.
Mourad seemed to have inherited the crazy streak from his Uncle Khosrove as he displayed his temperamental, hostile and obstinate attitude towards life.
In spite of the threat to the Garoghlanian tribe's reputation, Mourad stole John Byro's horse and kept it hidden for six weeks to practice his passion for riding. He could go to any extent to enjoy the things that he loved. He could handle any difficult situation with a cool and composed mind. When John Byro spotted him with the stolen horse, he tackled the situation in a composed manner and earned Mourad's admiration.
