The grandmother didn’t like the English school in the city. It was totally different from the village school that was attached to the temple. She was sad and disturbed. They didn’t teach anything about God and the scriptures at the new school. Nor was she interested in science. She hated music lessons given in the new school.

The grandmother didn't approve of the teaching methods at the English schools due to many reasons. She didn't like the fact that they only taught about science and nothing on God, the scriptures and spirituality. She absolutely disapproved of music being taught for she didn't considered music as something for the gentlefolk but to be the sole monopoly of beggars and harlots. Western education did not please the grandmother at all.

The number of units in one mole of any substance is called Avogadro’s number or Avogadro’s constant. It is equal to 6.022140857×1023. The units may be electrons, ions, atoms, or molecules, depending on the character of the reaction and the nature of the substance.
So, if you wanted to know the number of particles in 3 moles of a substance, the value would be:
= 3 x 6.023 x 1023
= 1.81 x 1024 particles

In biology, a family is a taxonomic rank, or a taxon at that rank. Each family contains one or more genera. The next important rank is that of order. Usually, the name of the family ends with a "idae" for animals, and "aceae" for plants. Family is, in turn, more specific. Some families in the order Carnivora, for example, are Canidae (dogs, wolves, foxes), Felidae (cats), Mephitidae (skunks), and Ursidae (bears). There are 12 total families in the order Carnivora.

In general, the law of sines is defined as the ratio of side length to the sine of the opposite angle. It holds for all the three sides of a triangle respective of their sides and angles.

Gravitational Constant. In SI units, G has the value 6.67 × 10-11 Newtons kg-2 m2. The direction of the force is in a straight line between the two bodies and is attractive. Thus, an apple falls from a tree because it feels the gravitational force of the Earth and is therefore subject to “gravity”.

Roman Empire:
- Roman empire extended from Spain to Syria along the Mediterranean.
- It had more of a diverse population in looking into its geographical expanse . It was characterised by many cultures but had common government with single ruler/emperor.
- Greek and latin languages were used for adminstrative purposes.
Iranian empire:
- It controlled major part of the Caspian sea, large parts of Afghanistan and eastern Arabia.
- The Parthians and Sasanians dynasties,ruled over the people of Iran. It was not as diverse as the Roman empire.
- People spoke Persain language.

Suzanne was narrator’s seven year old daughter. She was very brave. She was critically injured at the time the huge wave struck the boat. Her eyes were terribly swollen because of the head injury. There was a cut on her arm also; however, she did not cry. She repeatedly told her father she was alright; the truth was she was not. She had to undergo six minor operations to remove the blood clotting from her brain.

The lines in the emission spectrum of hydrogen are classified into 5 series. Lyman series, Balmer series, Paschen series, Brackett series and Pfund series.
The first series of lines corresponds to n1 is equal to 1 and n2 equal to 2, 3, 4, and so on. This is known as Lyman series and it appears in the ultraviolet region.
Similarly for Balmer, Paschen, Brackett and Pfund series, n1 =2, 3 , 4 and 5 respectively.
These series lie in different regions.Lyman series lies in the Ultraviolet region. Balmer series lies in the visible region while Paschen, Brackett and Pfund lie in the infrared region.
