Reduction divisions in the life cycle of a liverwort, a moss, a fern and a gymnosperm take place during the production of spores from spore mother cells. In case of an angiosperm, the reduction division occurs during pollen grain formation from anthers and during production of embryo sac from ovule.

- A welfare state is a positive state. This means that, unlike the ‘laissez faire’ of classical liberal political theory, the welfare state does not seek to do only the minimum necessary to maintain law and order.
- The welfare state is a democratic state. Democracy was considered an essential condition for the emergence of the welfare state.
- A welfare state follows a ‘mixed economy’ means an economy where both private capitalist enterprises and state or publicly owned enterprises co-exist. A welfare state does not seek to eliminate the capitalist market, nor does it prevent public investment in industry and other fields.

The poetess Shirley Toulson while writing this poem travels down her memory lane. She becomes nostalgic. She is reminded of a time when her mother was young and she was a child. She remembers how her mother used to look at one of her old photograph, where she posed in the beach with her cousins Betty and Dolly with a smile. But then she realizes that her mother died twelve years ago and is no more with her. She gets upset by this. The photograph was like a ruthless fact for her as it invigorated the sense of loss in her. But when she accepts the truth of human life the photograph provides a sweet memory of her mother.

Mongol empire, empire founded by Genghis Khan in 1206. Originating from the Mongol heartland in the Steppe of central Asia, by the late 13th century it spanned from the Pacific Ocean in the east to the Danube River and the shores of the Persian Gulf in the west. At its peak, it covered some 9 million square miles (23 million square km) of territory, making it the largest contiguous land empire in world history. In 1227 the Mongol dominions stretched over the vast regions between the Caspian and China seas, bordering in the north on the sparsely populated forest belt of Siberia and in the south on the Pamirs, Tibet, and the central plains of China. This empire contained a multitude of different peoples, religions, and civilizations, and it is only natural to seek the motivating force behind this unparalleled expansion. Certainly the traditional antagonism between pastoral, nomadic steppe-dwellers and settled agricultural civilizations has to be taken into account. Raids by nomads from the steppe had always occurred from time to time wherever powerful nomadic tribes lived in the proximity of settled populations, but they had not usually taken on the dimensions of a bid for world hegemony or domination as in the case of Genghis Khan’s invasions.

In meiosis I, homologous chromosomes separate, while in meiosis II, sister chromatids separate.
Meiosis II produces 4 haploid daughter cells, whereas meiosis I produces 2 diploid daughter cells.
Genetic recombination (crossing over) only occurs in meiosis I.
If you didn't understand any of those difference or didn't notice them, it's okay, because I'm going to explain it below in detail:
Diploid Cells have two sets of chromosomes, while Haploid Cells have only one set of chromosomes. Here's how the chromatids and chromosomes split in meiosis, in terms of n.
The cell has 2 pairs of chromosomes after DNA replication, and 1 pair of chromatids is distributed to each cell during meiosis I. In meiosis II the daughter cells now have 1 chromatid each.

Hierarchical Classification is a system of grouping things according to a hierarchy, or levels and orders. ... The categorization of species is another example of hierarchical classification. At the very top is the kingdom which is the broadest category, followed by phylum, class, order, family, genus, and species. Hierarchy of categories refers to an arrangement of different taxonomic groups in a definite order from higher to lower categories. A category is called a taxon. The main aim of hierarchical taxonomy is to assign an organism an appropriate place within the systematic framework of classification.
