A frog will eat just about any living thing he can fit in his mouth, but he also has sensitive taste buds. He will occasionally spit out hastily grabbed prey if the taste is unpleasant. The taste buds are on the surface of his tongue and the inside of his mouth. Completely aquatic frogs in the Pipidae family do not have tongues, but they have taste discs in their mouth tissue to receive taste sensations. Osmoreceptors present in the mouth of frog are involved in detecting osmotic pressure and maintain the salt and water balance in the body fluids. Male recognises a mature female by swollen abdomen.

1. Organise and classify - the organism can be easily categorised, this really helps making it easier to understand the characteristics of a specific organism in an organised chart.
2. Clarity and precision - these names are unique with each creature having only one scientific name. Helps avoid confusion created by common names.
3. Universal recognition - scientific names are standardised and accepted universally.
4. Stability - the names are retained even if the species are shifted to another genera based on new knowledge.
5. Inter specific relationship - binomial terms help understand the similarities and differences between different species belonging to the same genera, useful in establishing a relationship between the two.

Priority scheduling algorithm executes the processes depending upon their priority. Each process is allocated a priority and the process with the highest priority is executed first. Priorities can be defined internally as well as externally. Internal priorities are decided by the system depending upon the number of resources required, time needed etc. whereas external priorities are based upon the time in which the work is needed or the amount being paid for the work done or the importance of process. Priority scheduling can be preemptive or non- preemptive.
Note –
- If two processes have the same priority then tie is broken using FCFS.
- The waiting time for the highest priority process is always zero in preemptive mode while it may not be zero in case of non preemptive mode

In the hexadecimal number system, the numbers are represented with base 16. It is also pronounced sometimes as ‘hex’. Just like the binary number, octal number and decimal number whose base representation are 2, 8 and 10, respectively, the hexadecimal conversion is also possible which can be represented in a table. This concept is widely explained in the syllabus of Class 9. The list of 16 hexadecimal digits with their decimal, octal and binary representation is provided here in the form of a table, which will help in number system conversion.

She insisted on taking all their nice things on the pretext of saving them. The narrator's mother was too simple to understand the lady's motive behind her kindness.

The narrator and his wife had always dreamt of sailing. They wanted to do a round-the-world voyage like Captain James Cook had done 200 years earlier. For sixteen years they spent all their leisure time improving their seafaring skills in the British waters. They took a boat, Wavewalker, that was 23 metres, and weighed 30 ton. It had been professionally built and they spent months fitting it out and testing it in the roughest weather that they could find. Finally, in July 1976, the family set out to sail from Plymouth, England.

It was hard for the author to believe that his grandmother was once young and pretty because he has never seen her childhood and adulthood photos. As the author was growing up, he saw his grandmother during her old age time and he believed that his grandmother appearance which he sees with help of his own eyes are true and the appearance described by her in stories are deceptive.

The emperor, the aristocracyand the army were the "three main players" in the political history of the empire. The success of individual emperors dependedon their control of the army, and when thearmies were divided, the result usually was civil war. Except for one notorious year , when four emperorsmounted the throne in quick succession, the first two centuries werefree from civil war.
