In the diagram:
(i) The AP increases when MP is greater than AP.
(ii) The AP is at its maximum when both MP and AP are equal. This is shown at point E.
(iii) The AP decreases when MP ip less than AP.
(iv) MP can be positive, zero or negative, but AP is always positive.

Pyrolysis is defined as the conversion of a compound into smaller fragments in the absence of air through the application of heat. It is different from combustion. It happens in the absence of air and hence oxidation of compounds does not take place. Generally, pyrolysis of alkanes is also named as cracking.

Input Device Definition: A piece of equipment/hardware which help us enter data into a computer is called an input device. For example keyboard, mouse, etc.
Output Device Definition: A piece of equipment/hardware which gives out the result of the entered input, once it is processed (i.e. converts data from machine language to a human-understandable language), is called an output device. For example printer, monitor, etc.

As the metabolism continues to slow down, signs and symptoms develop. Here are a few signs and symptoms of hypothyroidism:
- Fatigue.
- Weight gain with high cholesterol.
- Memory problems.
- Coarse and pale skin.
- Coarse and dry hair with hair loss.

Differentiation is the essence of Calculus. A derivative is defined as the instantaneous rate of change in function based on one of its variables. It is similar to finding the slope of a tangent to the function at a point.
Integration is a method to find definite and indefinite integrals. The integration of a function f(x) is given by F(x) and it is represented by:

where
R.H.S. of the equation indicates integral of f(x) with respect to x
F(x) is called anti-derivative or primitive.
f(x) is called the integrand.
dx is called the integrating agent.
C is the constant of integration or arbitrary constant.
x is the variable of integration.

An inelastic collision is such a type of collision that takes place between two objects in which some energy is lost. In the case of inelastic collision, momentum is conserved but the kinetic energy is not conserved. Most of the collisions in daily life are inelastic in nature.
When two objects collide under inelastic condition. The final velocity with which object move is given by-
V=(M1V1+M2V2)(M1+M2)
Where,
- V= Final velocity
- M1= mass of the first object in kgs
- M2= mas of the second object in kgs
- V1= initial velocity of the first object in m/s
- V2= initial velocity of the second object in m/s

Friction is defined as the force that opposes the motion of a solid object over another. There are mainly four types of friction: static friction, sliding friction, rolling friction, and fluid friction. Friction and normal force are directly proportional to the contacting surfaces and it doesn’t depend on the hardness of the contacting surface. With the increase in relative speeds, the sliding friction reduces whereas fluid friction increases with the increase in the relative speed, also fluid friction is dependent on the viscosity of the fluid.
Following are the friction types which depend on the types of motion:
- Static Friction: Static friction is defined as the frictional force that acts between the surfaces when they are at rest with respect to each other.
- Sliding Friction: Sliding friction is defined as the resistance that is created between any two objects when they are sliding against each other.
- Rolling Friction: Rolling friction is defined as the force which resists the motion of a ball or wheel and is the weakest types of friction.
- Fluid Friction: Fluid friction is defined as the friction that exists between the layers of the fluid when they are moving relative to each other.
