The principle of superposition may be applied to waves whenever two (or more) waves travelling through the same medium at the same time. The waves pass through each other without being disturbed. The net displacement of the medium at any point in space or time, is simply the sum of the individual wave displacements.

Social change is change in the system in which human social interrelations remain organised, controlled, and stable Every change which occurs in society is not social change. Only that change which occurs in social relationship is social change

Yogita Ingle 6 years, 11 months ago

The social changes that were implemented as a result, such as the Department of Homeland Security, the Patriot Act, and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), forever changed the United States government. These transformations in various social institutions are examples of social change. Social change happens all the time. Social change is sometimes intentional, but oftentimes unplanned.

  • Carnot Engine is a reversible engine.
  • Carnot's theorem consists of two parts

          (i) no engine working between two given temperatures can be more efficent than a reversible Carnot engine working between same source and sink.
(ii) all reversible engines working between same source and sink (same limits or temperature) have the same efficiency irrespective the working substance.

The moment of inertia of a body about any axis is equal to the sum of the moments of inertia of the body about a parallel axis passing through its centre of mass and the product of its mass and the square of distance between the two parallel axes. formulae is I=Ig+Md^2

???. Pragati 6 years, 11 months ago

The Parallel Axis Theorem states that a bodies moment of inertia about any given axis is the moment of inertia about the centroid plus the mass of the body times the distance between the point and the centroid squared.
