Momentum is a quantity that describes an object's resistance to stopping (a kind of "moving inertia"). It is represented by the symbol p (boldface). Itis the product of an object's mass and velocity.
p = mv
S.I Unit of Momentum = S.I Unit of mass × S.I Unit of velocity
S.I Unit of Momentum = kg × m.s-1
S.I Unit of Momentum = kg.m.s-1
The SI unit of momentum is the kilogram meter per second.

The dielectric constant is the ratio of the permittivity of a substance to the permittivity of free space. It is an expression of the extent to which a material concentrates electric flux, and is the electrical equivalent of relative magnetic permeability. As the dielectric constant increases, the electric flux density increases, if all other factors remain unchanged.

- Bending stress, also called flexural stress, is parallel to the axle of the member
- Shear stress is perpendicular to the axle of the member.
