As plastic is non-biodegradable and its process is very costly and includes manual participation thus exposing workers to toxic substances produced during recycling processes. Therefore colourful polystyrene and plastic packaging used for protecting the food consider an environmental menace.

Federalism refers to distribution or share of power or accomodate two shade of politics one at national level and other at regional level

Yogita Ingle 6 years, 11 months ago

Federalism is a system of government in which the power is divided between a central authority and various constituent units of the country. Usually, a federation has two levels of government. One is the government for the entire country that is usually responsible for a few subjects of common national interest. The others are governments at the level of provinces or states that look after much of the day-to-day administering of their state. Both these levels of governments enjoy their power independent of the other.

Glomerular filtration rate (GFR) is a test used to check how well the kidneys are working. Specifically, it estimates how much blood passes through the glomeruli each minute. Glomeruli are the tiny filters in the kidneys that filter waste from the blood.

Aarav Tyagi 6 years, 11 months ago

thanks frnds☺☺

Yogita Ingle 6 years, 11 months ago

The amount of the filtrate formed by the kidneys per minute is called glomerular filtration rate (GFR). The value of GFR in a healthy individual is approximately 125 ml/minute i.e., 180 litres per day

A simple pendulum consists of a small metal ball (called bob) suspended by a long thread from a rigid support, such that the bob is free to swing back and forth.

Yogita Ingle 6 years, 11 months ago

A simple pendulum is defined as an object that has a small mass (pendulum bob), which is suspended from a wire or string having negligible mass.

  • Whenthe pendulum bob is displaced it oscillates on a plane about the vertical line through the support.
  • Simple pendulum can be set into oscillatory motion by pulling it to one side of equilibrium position and then releasing it.

Atmospheric pressure is expressed in quite a number of units. 1) Atmosphere (atm) : Naturally the easiest. Ambient pressure = 1 atm. 2) Bar : Popular, yet non-SI unit. 1 atm = 1.01325 bar (source: google!) 3) Pascal : The SI unit of pressure, but not very popular in Earth sciences. 1 atm = 101.325 KPa (no wonder it’s unpopular) 4) Torr : Manometric unit of pressure (mm column of Hg). Quite old. Almost no significance today. 1 atm = 760 Torr 5) psi (pounds-per-square-inch): Also informal. Prevalent form of pressure measurement. However, not very popular in Earth sciences or meteorology. 1 atm = 14.6959 psi.

Yogita Ingle 6 years, 11 months ago

Atmosphere is a mixture of different gases. All these gas molecules together constitute some weight. By virtue of this weight there is some pressure exerted by the atmosphere on all the objects. This pressure is known as atmospheric pressure.

Units of Pressure:-

1.SI unit: Pascal (Pa)

  • Pressure is always measured by taking sea level as the reference level. At sea level P=1.01*105 Pa.
  1. Atmosphere (atm)
    • Reference level is at sea level.
    • Pressure equivalent of 76cm of Hg column
    • 1atm=76cm of Hg column
    • 1atm=1.01*105 Pa

It is because of the reason that Hydrogen peroxide when kept for long time will under go auto-oxidation and releases oxygen and water. This process takes place slowly. 2H2O2 → 2H2O + O2

Yogita Ingle 6 years, 11 months ago

H2O2 is very unstable and highly reactive. Its vapours are explosive in nature at normal temperature and pressures. It decomposes easily and can lead to hazardous reactions. Hence very high care should be taken for the long time storage of H2O2.
It should be stored in cool, dry, well-ventilated area and away from any flammable or combustible substances. It should be stored in non-reactive containers. As it breaks down quickly when exposed to light, it should be stored in an opaque container (brown bottles).

A perfectly rigid body means no matter how much load you apply it is neither going to deform nor any shape change. The high school kinematics and dynamics we study inherently assumes that body is perfectly rigid and no amount of force is going to change its shape.

Well the case is simple molar specific heat is amount of heat required to raise the temp of a substance 1mole to 1 celcius so at constant volume particles have no more space to move around so their kinetic energy increases hence increase in temp would be like temp of kinetic energy of particles due to not expanding + heat given. but in case of constant pressure volume will increase causing cooling effect which also needs to be neutralized by heat so total temp would be like heat given to neutralize cooling effect of expanding + heat to rise temp to 1 celcius hence this molar specific heat is greater clearly
