The main reason is the low value of escape velocity of moon.
Escape velocity of moon is the minimum speed required for an object to escape permanently from the gravitatational attraction of the moon.
The escape velocity of moon is 2.38km/s. So, all the gases escape from the surface of the moon. Hence, the moon has no atmosphere.

“The formal charge over an atom of a polyatomic molecule or ion is the difference between the valence electron of that atom in the elemental state and the number of electrons assigned to that atom in Lewis structure.”
Mathematically, it can be expressed by following formula:
F.C. = [Total no. of valence e– in free state] – [total no. of e– assigned in Lewis structure]
F.C. = [Total no. of valence e– in free state] – [total no. of non-bonding pair e– (lone pair)] – 1/2 [total no. of bonding e–]
The factor of ½ is attached to the no. of bonding e– because bonding e– is shared between two atoms.

In the story the " The portrait of a Lady " by khushwant Singh. The grandmother was not pretty but had a divine beauty. She dressed in spotless white, Her silver locks were scattered untidely over her pale, puckered face , and her lips constantly moved in an inaudible prayer. The author describes her " like the winter landscape in the Mountains " - A personification of “ serenity, breathing peace and contentment"

A salt bridge is a U- shape containing concentrated solution of an inert electrolyte like KCl, KNO3, K2SO4 etc.or a solidified solution of those electrolytes in agar-agar solution and gelatin.
These inert electrolytes do not take part in redox reaction of the cell and even dont react with the electrolyte used.
The main functions of a salt bridge are;
- They allow the movement of ions from one solution to another without mixing of the two solutions and complete the electrical circuit.
- To maintain the electical neutrality of the solutions in the two half cells.

- Specific heat is defined as the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of a body per unit mass.
- It depends on:-
- Nature of substance
- Temperature
- Denoted by ‘s’
Mathematically:-
s= (ΔQ /mΔT)
- where m= mass of the body
- ΔQ = amount of heat absorbed or rejected by the substance
- ΔT= temperature change

Minimum price ceiling or Price floor means the least price that could be paid for a good or service. It is the price fixed by the
government for a good in the market. The government fixes the price on agricultural products and food grains in
particular so that the farmers get their fair price of a commodity which otherwise actually can be sold with too low of a
price.
Effects of price floor:
(i) Minimum Return: Farmers are ensured with the minimum returns as their products are completely sold in the
market at comparatively higher price. This leads to an increase in their level of income.
(ii) Maximum Level of output: The government ensures to buy the full produce of the farmers which are not sold in
the market at the price floor. Hence, they are able to produce the maximum level of output.
(iii) Burden on Government: It also puts extra burden on the government revenues. It becomes mandatory for the
government to purchase the excess produce, even if it runs a sufficient volume of buffer stocks.
(iv) Higher Taxes: The government also tries to shift the burden (associated with purchasing the excess produce at
higher price) to the consumers and the traders in form of higher taxes.

We know that, the semi latus-rectum of a parabola is the harmonic mean between the segments of any focal chord of the parabola.
Given that, b and c are lengths of the segments of any focal chord of the parabola y2=4ax
So, Let l is the length of semi-latus rectum of the parabola.
Then,1/b+1/c=2/l
⇒ l=2bc/(b+c)
Hence, length of latus-rectum=2bc/(b+c)
