This novel is not in syllabus as per new cbse +1 syllabus but then also the answer / the reason is that in all traditional horror novels the ghosts are able to scare the residents of the house but in this novel the ghost tried his best but all in vain. Moreover the ending part is a good one and different from other novels as the girl of that house helps that ghost to get free of that life I think It will be right and will be helpful for you...
