Arunachal Pradesh is the easternmost state and Gujarat is the westernmost state. Naturally, they experience such variation in the local time because of the longitudinal distance of 30° longitudes. This longitudinal distance of 30° longitudes makes a difference of 2 hours between the Arunachal Pradesh and the Gujarat. (1 degree = 4 minutes,30 degree = 4 {tex}\times{/tex} 30 = 120 minutes i.e 2 hours).
Hence, when it is 6 a.m. in Arunachal Pradesh, the local time at Gujarat is supposed to be behind by 2 hours as compared to the Arunachal Pradesh,it is 4 a.m. Therefore, it is correct to say that when the sun has already risen in the Arunachal Pradesh, it is still night in the Gujarat.

Elements in which the last electron enters the d-orbitals, are called d-block elements. These elements have general outer electronic configuration (n-1)d1-10 ns0-2. Zn, Cd and Hg which have general electronic configuration, (n-1) d10ns2 do not show most of the properties of transition elements. d-orbitals in these elements are completely filled in the ground state as well as in their common oxidation states. Thus, on the basis of properties, all transition elements are d-block elements but on the basis of electronic configuration, all d- block elements are not transition elements.

AUSTRALOPITHECUS- word derives from a Latin word 'austral' meaning southern and a Greek word 'pithecus' meaning ape. They have a smaller brain than (less intelligence, less memory, less thinking power). Heavier jaws and larger teeths enabled them to eat raw meat. They are quadrapeds which enabled them to spend life on trees due to flexible limbs and mobile ankle joints. Limited use of hands did not allow them to make stone tools.
HOMO- 'Homo' is a Latin word meaning 'man' including woman. They have a larger brain (more intelligence, more memory, more thinking power). Smaller jaws and inverted teeths enabled only to eat soft meat. These are bipedals which enabled them to walk on their two feet but for a short time. More of use of hands enabled them to make and use stone tools.
