Placentation :- the arrangement of the ovules within the ovary is known as placentation.
placentation are of different types:-
1) Marginal
2) Axile
3) parietal
4) free central
5) basal
Marginal placentation :- In this, the placenta forms a ridge along the ventral suture of the ovary and ovules are borne on the ridge.
e.g --> pea
Axile placentation :- In this , the placenta is Axile and ovules are attached to it .
e g- China rose , tomato , lemon
Parietal placentation :- in this , the ovules develop on inner wall of the ovary or on peripheral part.
e.g -> mustard , Argemone
Free central placentation :- In this , the ovules are borne on central axis and septa are absent.
e.g-> Dianthus and Primrose.
basal placentation :- in this , placenta develop at base of ovary & single ovule is attached to it.
e g -> sunflower , marigold.

The root tip can be divided into three zones: a zone of cell division, a zone of elongation, and a zone of maturation. The zone of cell division is closest to the root tip and is made up of the actively-dividing cells of the root meristem, which contains the undifferentiated cells of the germinating plant.

Price elasticity of supply (PES) measures the responsiveness of quantity supplied to a change in price. It is necessary for a firm to know how quickly, and effectively, it can respond to changing market conditions, especially to price changes.
{tex}\frac{\mathrm{E}_{\mathrm{SA}}}{\mathrm{E}_{\mathrm{SB}}}=\frac{1}{1.5}{/tex}...(i)
ESA {tex}=\frac{\% \text { Change in } Q s \text { of } A}{\% \text { Change in Price of } A}{/tex}
ESA{tex}=\frac{40}{20}{/tex}= 2 Put in eq. (i)
{tex}\frac{2}{\mathrm{E}_{\mathrm{SB}}}=\frac{1}{1.5}{/tex}
2{tex}\times{/tex}1.5 = ESB
3.0 = ESB
ESB{tex}=\frac{\% \text { Change in } Q s \text { of } B}{\% \text { Change in Price of } B}{/tex}
% Change in QSof B{tex}=\frac{(11-10)}{10} \times{/tex}100 = 10%
3{tex}=\frac{\% \text { Change in } Q s \text { of } B}{\% \text { Change in Price of } B}{/tex}
3{tex}=\frac{\% \text { Change in } Q s \text { of } B}{10}{/tex}
30 = % Change in QS of B.

Keys are pairs of two contrasting characters. Selection of one character leads to rejection of another character while identifying a particular species or genera or family and so on.
For example presence or absence of hair on body can give a clue if an animal belongs to mammalian or not.

One of my neighbours are looking for a formal school for their 3 year old daughter. The way they are analysing the things are being discussed below –
- They need a school which is within the vicinity of their residence so that they could not be dependent upon the transport facility as they are quite afraid of the crime against girl child in present days
- They need the school to have good curriculum as well as extra-curricular activities because they want the child to develop multi-fold.
- They are quite conscious about the gentry of the school as they feel that the child leans behaviour from the groups he/she forms in school.
- They want the school to have good sports training so that the child can even be better in sports and can opt it as career as now-a-days sports is quite a heavily paid job.

A shield volcano has shield-like shape. They are typically very large in area but their cones have a smoother, lower profile than composite volcanoes. They are shaped this way because their lava flows are made of basaltic magma, which has a lower viscosity than the lava from composite volcanoes. This characteristic allows the lava to flow much farther from the caldera and in thinner layers. Mount Kilauea, Hawaii is a well known shield volcano. It has been erupting continuously for over thirty years.
Composite volcanoes are more commonly called stratovolcanoes. They are the stereotypical volcanoes that come to most people's minds when they think of volcanoes. They can be quite steep. They are called composite because their cones are built of layers of tephra, ash, pumice and lava. This is also why they are called stratovolcanoes--another word for “layers” is “strata”. The lava from the volcanoes is felsic and has a high viscosity, so they slow and cool more quickly than the lava flows from shield volcanoes.

According to the indifference curve analysis, consumer's equilibrium is at a point where the slope of the indifference curve is equal to the slope of the budget line or the price line.
The conditions of the consumer's equilibrium are
- The given price line should be tangent to an indifference curve or marginal rate of satisfaction of good X for good Y (MRSxy) must be equal to the price ratio of the two goods. i.e.{tex}\operatorname { MRS } _ { x y } = \frac { P _ { x } } { P _ { y } }{/tex}, where
MRSxy = Marginal Rate of Substitution of good X and good Y
Px = Price of good X
Py = Price of good Y, and - At the point of equilibrium, the indifference curve must be convex to the origin. It implies that at the point of equilibrium, MRS must be diminishing.

In the diagram given, P is the equilibrium point at which budget line touches the Indifference Curve IC2. - The consumer’s consumption decision is explained by combining the budget line and the indifference map

Andrew Manson was a young doctor. He was a dedicated and hard working medical practitioner. He never failed in his calling. He was full of ideas. He judged every case on its merit. He showed quite a mature understanding of his patients. He never faltered or hesitated. When torn between two conflicts, he wasted no time in taking the right and prompt decision.
We find Andrew Manson a clear headed person. He could resolve any issue. He didn't hesitate even to do any experiment. Plunging the child into the icy and hot waters turn by turn was a daring experiment.Similarly, rubbing and releasing the chest with a rough towel was another experiment. It, finally brought success to the doctor. In the end, Andrew was satisfied that he did everything whatever had been expected of him.
