The chief of builders was the first one to be held guilty. He shifted the blame on the workmen. The workmen were surprised but did not lose their reasoning power. They told the king he had forgotten the fact that the bricks were made of the wrong size. Swayed by their rational argument, the masons were summoned. They trembled with fear, but shifted the blame on the architect who was responsible for planning and erecting the arch. The king ordered the architect to be hanged. The clever architect reminded the king that he had forgotten one small thing. He had made certain amendments to plans when the former had shown them to the latter. This clearly meant that he held the king responsible for the mishap. The king became very angry and lost” his capacity of clear judgement. He called it a tricky thing and sought the advice of the wisest man in the country. Thus each accused succeeded in shifting the blame on others.

The chemiosmotic hypothesis was proposed by Peter Mitchell. This hypothesis stated that a proton-motive force was responsible for driving the synthesis of ATP. In this hypothesis, protons would be pumped across the inner mitochondrial membrane as electrons went through the electron transfer chain. The chemiosmotic hypothesis suggests that the action of ATP synthase is coupled with that of a proton gradient. ... It is the action of the proton gradient that causes a proton motive force that allows ATP synthase to phosphorylate ADP and inorganic phosphate to ATP.

Now square both sides,
3 cos²x = 2 + sin²x -2√2 sinx
3(1-sin²x) = 2 + sin²x -2√2 sinx
3-3sin²x = 2 + sin²x -2√2 sinx
0 = -1 + 4sin²x -2√2 sinx
4sin²x - 2√2 sinx - 1 = 0
let y = sinx, then,
4y² -2√2y -1 =0
y = {2√2±√(8+16)}/8
y = {2√2 ±2√6}/8
y = {√2 ±√6}/4
sinx = {√2 ±√6}/4
x = sin inverse {√2 ±√6}/4

Segregation is the separation of an individual or group of individuals from a larger group, often in order to apply special treatment to the separated individual or group.
Segregation in South Africa meant the separation of blacks from the white and the minority that why the whites ruling on the black that was the majority. it actually means that building different places for whites and blacks so that legs do not sit with whites.
The system of public toilets were all separate for blacks and whites. Blacks could not visit the churches where white worshipped. They could not form an association or protest against the terrible treatment. This system was called segregation.
