Nephridia are segmentally arranged coiled tubules which act as excretory organs in the earthworms. It performs the following function:
i. Regulate the volume and composition of the body fluids .
ii. Collects excess fluid from the coelomic chamber.
iii. Delivers the wastes through a pore to the surface in the body wallinto the digestive tube.

- Ajanta caves near Aurangabad are well-known for their cave architecture, sculpture and murals.
- The caves have been declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
- The 29 rock-cut caves at Ajanta were built between the 2nd century BCE and the 8th century CE.
- The caves containing elaborate sculptures and paintings speak about the artistic brilliance of the ancient period.
- The fresco paintings on the walls of the Ajanta Caves depict scenes from the life of the Buddha.
- The Jataka tales have also been shown in the paintings.

Uncle Khosrove is explained to be a very impatient man. This worked to his disadvantage one day when he was getting his hair trimmed by a barber and he came to know that his house was on fire. He had an amazing reaction when he said: "It is no harm, pay no attention to it. Enough, it is no harm, I say." He paid no heed to anything serious or trivial.
