The rate of change of tangential velocity of a particle in a circular orbit is known as Tangential acceleration. It directs towards tangent to the path of the body.
Tangential Acceleration Formula
| at=Δv/Δt |
Tangential Acceleration Formula In Terms Of Distance
| at=d2s/dt2 Or at=v.dv/ds |
- at is the tangential acceleration
- Δv is the change in the angular velocity
- Δt is the change in time
- v is the linear velocity
- s is the distance covered
- t is teh time taken

A Carnot cycle is defined as an ideal reversible closed thermodynamic cycle in which there are four successive operations involved and they are isothermal expansion, adiabatic expansion, isothermal compression, and adiabatic compression. During these operations, the expansion and compression of substance can be done up to desired point and back to initial state.
