Periderm is a component of secondary growth that is formed towards the surface of stems and roots, having phellem, phellogen and phelloderm. Phellogen or cork cambium develops in a subepidermal layer in the stem and from pericycle in roots, its cells undergo bipolar division. The cells formed on the outer side undergo suberization, deposition of tannins and death of cellular contents. The outer tissue of dead suberised cells is called cork or phellem. At places, it contains lenticels or aerating pores having loosely arranged suberised complementary cells. Cells formed by phellogen on the inner side constitute secondary cortex or phelloderm.

Equilibrium means a state of maximum satisfaction.
Consumer’s equilibrium is a situation when he spends his given income on the purchase of one or more commodities in such a way that he gets maximum satisfaction and has no urge to change this level of consumption, given the prices of commodities.

Zeroth Law of Thermodynamics
- Zeroth law of thermodynamics states that when two systems are in thermal equilibrium through a third system separately then they are in thermal equilibrium with each other also.
- Foreg: - Consider two systems A and B which are separated by an adiabatic wall. Heat flow happens between systems A and C, and between B and C, due to which all 3 systems attain thermal equilibrium.
- Zeroth Law of Thermodynamics suggested that there should be some physical quantity which should have same value for the system to be in thermal equilibrium.
- This physical quantity which determines whether system is in equilibrium or not is Temperature.
- Temperature is the quantity which determines whether the system is in thermal equilibrium with the neighbouring system.
- When the temperature becomes equal then the flow of heat stops.

(i)Anti-religious: it is often argued that secularism is anti-religious. We hope to have shown that secularism is against institutionalised religious domination. This is not the same as being anti-religious. Similarly, it has been argued by some that secularism threatens religious identity.
(ii)Western Import: A second criticism is that secularism is linked to Christianity, that it is western and therefore unsuited to Indian conditions. The fact is that the secularism has both western and nonwestern origins. In the west, it was the Church-state separation which was central and in countries such as India, the ideas of peaceful co-existence of different religious communities has been important.
(iii)Minoritism: A third accusation against secularism is the charge of minoritism. To make a separate arrangement for them is not to accord them any special treatment. It is to treat them with the same respect and dignity with which all others are being treated. The lesson is that minority rights need not be nor should be viewed as special privileges.
(iv)Interventionist: A fourth criticism claims that secularism is coercive and that it interferes excessively with the religious freedom of communities. Indian secularism follows the concept of principled distance which also allows for noninterference. Besides, interference need not automatically mean coercive intervention.

Because of the presence of unpaired odd electron which is susceptible to undergo reaction. So it dimerise and form N2O4. In NO2 structure there is an unpaired electron left on Nitrogen atom, so it is reactive it dimerises to pair up its electron and gains stability as N2O4.
