In 1972 , the Indus civilization completed the golden jubilee of its discovery. It was celebrated in Pakistan but nothing happened in India ,although we loudly claimed heritage from the great civilization. Similarly the work in Pakistan and in other bordering regions has located many new settlements which indicates the extensive nature of that vast area encompassing Punjab, Sind, Rajasthan and Gujarat . This led to the trade relations between India and Harappa with western Asia

In the short story 'The Portrait of a Lady' by Khushwant Singh, the narrator gives a vivid description of his grandfather in the portrait.
The grandfather's portrait hung above the mantelpiece in the drawing room. The grandfather wore a big turban and loose fitting clothes in the portrait. He had a long, white beard and looked at least a hundred years old. He did not look like he had ever been young or had a wife or children. He looked as if he had always been a grandfather.

Carl Linnaeus was a famous botanist, zoologist and a physician who brought about binomial nomenclature. Binomial nomenclature is a naming system in classification of species.
He was famous for his different books published which laid foundation for nomenclature. He was known for two works namely Species Plantarum (1753) for plants and System Naturae (1758). These two books are still used in naming plants and animals.

In simple terms it means the activism shown by judiciary in resolving cases. Initially, only people who have been aggrieved or hurt or cheated can approach the court. But this restricted entry of people who are not educated or donot have enough finances. So the judiciary introduced PIL(public interest litigation) where anybody from the public can file the case of behalf of people who are being cheated or aggrieved.
And also judiciary has started picking up cases on its own from newspaper or media when it sees that executive is not doing its work. For example: recently supreme court scolded executive for allowing food being wasted in godowns and ordered to distribute it for free. So judiciary is also forcing executive accountability.
In simple terms it means judiciary becoming active and picking up cases on its own or with the help of public, media to bring justice. And this can be achieved through PIL or SAL(social action litigation). PIL emerged in 1979. And around the same time supreme court took up the case of rights of prisoners. And with this large number of public spirited citizens and voluntary organisations sought judicial intervention for the betterment of life conditions of poor, protection of environment and many other issues.

Basically bilateral and protostomial eucoelomate eumetazoans whose soft body (L., mollis or molluscum = soft) is unsegmented and enclosed within a skin–fold (mantle) which usually secretes a calcareous shell.
- About 80,000 existing and 35,000 extinct species known. Aquatic or terrestrial.
- Snails and mussels found along banks of freshwater bodies and the oysters, shanks (shoes conch–shell is commonly blown in religious ceremonies) and cowries of the sea are common molluscs.
Malacology or Conchology is the branch of study of molluscs and their shells.
Molluscs are of some economic importance; man uses some as food; shells of some are used for making buttons, beads, etc

Primates are mammals that usually have grasping hands, large brains and flat faces that set them apart from other mammals. Humans, gorillas, lemurs and tarsiers are all examples of primates. Primates evolved relatively recently, with fossil evidence pointing to an origin of about 55 million years ago.
