  • The earth is predominantly (71 % of the earth's surface) covered with water. Water absorbs the white light in the radiation (sunlight). The sunlight through appears white it is actually a combination of lights of several different colors (Violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange and red).
  • When sunlight reaches the water; the water absorbs, lights of all colors in the white light and reflects only blue light. Thus, the earth from space appears blue. If the water absorbs all colors and reflects only yellow, then it would appear yellow.

There were lots of hypothesis regarding the origin of life on earth. Certain experts suggested that life came from outer space as spores while another group explained that life came from a non-cellular component such as decaying matters like mud. The latter theory was known as the theory of spontaneous generation, which was discarded later.

In the year 1953, Oparin and Haldane suggested that life originated from non-living organic molecules like proteins and RNA. This was followed by the theory of chemical evolution which suggested that atmospheric conditions of earth led to the formation of organic molecules from inorganic molecules. Few scientists conducted experiments regarding the same. However, once the first life came into existence, they started to evolve in different ways and forms. This laid a stepping stone to the theory of evolution.

During prophase, the chromosomes become highly condensed, and the centrosomes begin to separate. The movement of the chromosomes towards the poles occurs during anaphase A, and the two spindle poles separate during anaphase B. The nuclear envelope begins to reform and the DNA begins to decondense during telophase.

The cardboard here refers to the photo graph of the author's mother along with her two girl cousins that was clicked by the uncle with a camera even before the author was born. Here the cardboard's lack of durability hints at the lack of impermanence of human life.

Elements of State:
A State stands identified with its four absolutely essential elements:

1. Population:
State is a community of persons. It is a human political institution. Without a population there can be no State. Population can be more or less but it has to be there. There are States with very small populations like Switzerland, Canada and others, and there are States like China, India and others, with very large populations.
2. Territory:
Territory is the second essential element of the State. State is a territorial unit. Definite territory is its essential component. A State cannot exist in the air or at sea. It is essentially a territorial State. The size of the territory of a State can be big or small; nevertheless it has to be a definite, well-marked portion of territory.
3. Government:
Government is the organisation or machinery or agency or magistracy of the State which makes, implements, enforces and adjudicates the laws of the state. Government is the third essential element of the State. The state exercises its sovereign power through its government.
4. Sovereignty:
Sovereignty is the most exclusive element of State. State alone posses sovereignty. Without sovereignty no state can exit. Some institutions can have the first three elements (Population Territory and Government) but not sovereignty.

Microeconomics is the study of individuals.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 7 months ago

Microeconomics is the study of decisions made by people and businesses regarding the allocation of resources and prices of goods and services. The government decides the regulation for taxes. Microeconomics focuses on the supply, that determines the price level of the economy. It uses the bottom-up approach strategy to analyze the economy. In other words, microeconomics tries to understand human choices and resource allocation. Microeconomics does not decide what are the changes taking place in the market, instead, it explains why there are changes happening in the market.

the important key factors of microeconomics are :

  • Demand, Supply, and Equilibrium
  • Production Theory
  • Costs of Production
  • Labor Economics
