In physics, the dyne is a unit of force specified in the centimetre-gram-second (cgs) system of units, symbol "dyn". One dyne is equal to exactly 10-5 newtons. Further, the dyne can be defined as "the force required to accelerate a mass of one gram at a rate of one centimetre per second squared." A net force of one dyne will accelerate a one-gram mass at the rate of 1 cm/s/s. In the c-g-s system, acceleration due to gravity “g” is 981 cm/s/s and hence, a one-gram of mass would weight 981 dynes.

Vectors are a type of matrix having only one column or one row. A vector having only one column is called a column vector, and a vector having only one row is called a row vector. For example, matrix a is a column vector, and matrix a' is a row vector. In linear algebra, a column vector or column matrix is an m × 1 matrix, that is, a matrix consisting of a single column of m elements, Similarly, a row vector or row matrix is a 1 × m matrix, that is, a matrix consisting of a single row of m elements. Throughout, boldface is used for the row and column vectors.

Classical conditioning is a form of learning whereby a conditioned stimulus (CS) becomes associated with an unrelated unconditioned stimulus (US) in order to produce a behavioral response known as a conditioned response (CR). The conditioned response is the learned response to the previously neutral stimulus. Teachers are able to apply classical conditioning in the class by creating a positive classroom environment to help students overcome anxiety or fear. Pairing an anxiety-provoking situation, such as performing in front of a group, with pleasant surroundings helps the student learn new associations.

Pepsin is the chief digestive enzyme in the stomach that breaks down proteins. We see that chief cells produce pepsinogen (an inactive form of pepsin). Pepsinogen is converted to pepsin when the parietal cells found within the gastric glands secrete hydrochloric acid. Pepsin is a nonspecific protease which is only active at acid pH, and is irreversibly denatured at neutral or alkaline pH as it moves from the stomach into the duodenum. It is therefore essential to make up the pepsin solution from powder in an acidic buffer.

Homeostasis is quite crucial for the survival of organisms. It is often seen as a resistance to changes in the external environment. Furthermore, homeostasis is a self-regulating process that regulates internal variables necessary to sustain life.

In other words, homeostasis is a mechanism that maintains a stable internal environment despite the changes present in the external environment.

The given function should be true for all values. Splitting the denominator, we get x=1,4. This implies that when we put the values 1 and 4 in the equation of the denominator, the value is zero. A fraction with zero as the denominator cannot be defined. If we will put any other value other than 1 and 4,we get a fraction with non-zero denominator which is defined. So the function is true for all values of x other than 1 and 4. Hence the domain is R-{1,4}.

Mole fraction represents the number of molecules of a particular component in a mixture divided by the total number of moles in the given mixture. It’s a way of expressing the concentration of a solution.

Mole Fraction formula

The molar fraction can be represented by X. If the solution consists of components A and B, then the mole fraction is,

Mole fraction of solute  = Moles of solute/Moles of solute + moles of solvent

Architecture is the art and science of designing buildings and other physical structures. A wider definition often includes the design of the total built environment from the macro level of town planning, urban design, and landscape architecture to the micro level of construction details and, sometimes, furniture. Architecture began the first time humans built anything to live in. The Great Wall of China was begun around 25 BC, and in the 1st century BC the Roman architect Marcus Vitruvius Pollio wrote De Architectura, the first classic work on the art of architecture.

Musicophile ❤️? 5 years, 6 months ago

This is because in the photo, the age of the girl standing in the middle is around 12 years. That girl was no other than the mother of the poet, who was eldest of all. Years later, when the poet sees the photo again, she discovers that it has been twelve years since her mother died i.e. same number of years as the eldest girl's age in the snapshot.

The three reasons which show that the grandmother was disturbed when he started going the city school are:- Firstly, the city school was far for the house and a motor bus used to come to pick him and drop him. Secondly, when she came to know that there were lessons for teaching music she became more disturbed. Thirdly, she was disturbed because there were no lessons for teaching scriptures and praying God.

When they shifted to city ,thier relationship started to fade and they became apart from each other .when kushwant was asked about what he was taught in school he would tell about some english words arhimede's principals and the world being round etc...this made grandma upset .she was worried that thier was no teaching about the scriprures and god. And when on day kushwant had announced that they were being given music lessons grandma was completely distressed .(bcoz she thinks that misic has lewd association and it was meant for the beggars and prostitutes ) she was silent and rarely talked to kushwant after that .her dissaproval and desdain was reflected in her silence..... that's it

The grandmother had love and compassion even for animals. In the village she fed the street dogs. In the city she took to feeding the sparrows. She would sit in the verandah. She would break the bread into small bits. She used to throw the crumbs to the sparrows. Hundreds of sparrows would gather around her. Some of them perched on her legs and shoulders. She never shoo’d them away. It was the happiest half-hour of the afternoon for her.

Physical geography looks at the natural processes of the Earth, such as climate and plate tectonics. Human geography looks at the impact and behaviour of people and how they relate to the physical world. Physical geography is the study of natural features and phenomena on the planet's surface and our interactions with them. Geography doesn't just determine whether humans can live in a certain area or not, it also determines people's lifestyles, as they adapt to the available food and climate patterns.
