Marginal utility refers to additional utility obtained from the consumption of an additional unit of a commodity. To illustrate, if 10th unit yields satisfaction of 100 utils, while 11th unit yields satisfaction of 105 utils, then marginal utility derived from the 11 th unit is 5 utils.
Law of diminishing marginal utility states that as consumption increases, marginal utility tends to decline. It is known as fundamental psychological law.

Yes , I would like to become invisible. It can be an exciting idea for most people. Like two facets of a coin, invisibility can have many advantages and disadvantages. For a child, invisibility may mean a licence for all kinds of pranks without getting caught. Like a Hindi movie, invisibility can help you beat all the villains black and blue and get rid of them. Once you become invisible, nobody would notice you. Within no time, the sadness of isolation will take over the excitement of being invisible. You will have no friend. You will tend to behave like the eccentric scientist in this story.

Earth's atmosphere also plays a vital role in regulating the temperature by providing a blanket of gases that not only protects us from excessive heat and harmful radiation from the sun, but also traps heat rising from the Earth's interior, keeping us warm. Influences how quickly atoms & molecules move Low temperatures cause chemicals to react slowly, which interferes with the reactions necessary for life. Life seems limited to a temperature range of minus 15oC to 115oC. In this range, liquid water can still exist under certain conditions.

Newton’s First Law of Motion:
Any object remains in the state of rest or in uniform motion along a straight line, until it is compelled to change the state by applying external force.
Explanation: If any object is in the state of rest, then it will remain in rest untill a exernal force is applied to change its state. Similarly an object will remain in motion untill any exeternal force is applied over it to change its state. This means all objects resist to in changing their state. The state of any object can be changed by applying external forces only.

Light is a form of energy that produces in us the sensation of sight.
Following are the properties of light:
- Reflection of light: Every light follows the law of reflection which states that the angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection.
- Refraction of light: Refraction of light takes places when the light ray changes its velocity it passes from one medium to another. Index of refraction is used as a means to measure how much light refracts.
- Dispersion: Dispersion of light is defined as the process in which the white light separates into different colours based on their wavelength when passed through a glass prism.
