Abdul Kalam
A boy of ordinary looks, Abdul Kalam had many sterling qualities right from his childhood. He had immense affection and respect for his parents. He inherited the values of honesty and self-discipline from his father and faith in goodness and deep kindness from his mother. Kalam was an enterprising and a hard-working child. He collected tamarind seeds, when they were in demand, and sold them to earn small yet significant amounts. Very confident of himself, he did every piece of work assigned to him with full dedication. He helped his cousin to catch bundles from the running trains when the train-halt at Rameswaram was suspended during the Second World War. He was also a sensitive child and learnt valuable lessons from his experiences. He learnt early in life that caste-based segregation is a poison that must not be allowed to thrive. Kalam was also progressive and took the decision at the right time to leave his hometown to study further and grow in life.

Solution :
Given: Two resistors with resistances R1=5ohm and R2=10ohm, V=6volt
(a) For minimum current these two should be connected in series. For maximum current these two should be connected in parallel.
(b)In series,
Total resistance = 5+10 = 15ohms
Therefore total current drawn = V/R = 6/15 = 0.4amps
In parallel,
Total resistance R is given as 1/R=1/R1+1/R2
1/R =1/5+1/10
1/R=3/10
R=10/3 ohm
Therefore total current drawn by the circuit = V/R = 6/(10/3) =1.8amps.

Ohm’s Law

George Simon ohm(in 1826)studied relationship between I and V across the ends of conductor.
Ohm’s Law states that electric current flowing in a conductor is directly proportional to potential difference across the ends of the conductor,provided temperature and other physical conditions remains constant.
V=IR
R=Resistance of conductor
Resistance of a conductor is the property of conductor to oppose the flow of charge through it.
R = V/I

In brief, casteism refers to one-sided loyalty in favour of a particular caste. Casteism leads the members of one caste to exploit the members of other caste for their own vested interest in the name of superiority or inferiority. It hindered national unity: The caste system developed a parochial feeling and made the people unduly conscious of their own castes. Many a time caste interests were given priority over national interest. Thus the whole system stood against the very concept of national unity.

x²+7x+10=0
x²+2x+5x+10=0
x(x+2)+5(x+2)=0
(x+2)(x+5) = 0
x+2 = 0 ; x = -2
x+5 = 0 ; x = -5
Relationship between the zeroes and coefficients :-
Sum of zeroes = -2+(-5) = -2-5
= -7/1 = -x coefficient /x² coefficient
Product of zeroes = (-2)(-5)
= 10/1 = constant/x² coefficient
