There are four basic rules of logarithms as given below:-

  1. Logb (mn)= logb m + logb n. In this rule, the multiplication of two logarithmic values is equal to the addition of their individual logarithms.

          For example- log( 2y ) = log(2) + log(y)

  1. Logb (m/n)= logb m – logb This is called as division rule. Here the division of two logarithmic values is equal to the difference of each logarithm.

         For example, log( 2/ y ) = log(2) -log(y)

  1. Logb (mn) = n logb m

This is the exponential rule of logarithms. The logarithm of m with a rational exponent is equal to the exponent times its logarithm.

  1.  Logm = logm/ loga b

No, they are not. They are also standing upright. There is actually no up and down on the earth. It is relative.

Reconstructing religous beliefs and practices of past is not an easy task. Now reconstructions of Harappan religion are made on the assumption that later traditions provide parallels with earlier ones. This is because archaeologists often move from the known to the unknown, that is, from the present to the past. While this is plausible in the case of stone querns and pots, it becomes more speculative when we extend it to “religious” symbols.

However attempts have been made by the scholars to reconstruct the religious beliefs and practices by examining the seals of the harappan civilization. And studying these seals and the motifs printed on it scholars have come out with ideas regarding the religious practices of the Harappan people. For example there are some seal which seem to depict ritual scenes. Others, with plant motifs, are thought to indicate nature worship. Some animals – such as the one-horned animal, often called the “unicorn” – depicted on seals seem to be mythical, composite creatures. In some seals, a figure shown seated cross-legged in a “yogic” posture, sometimes surrounded by animals, has been regarded as a depiction of “proto-Shiva”, that is, an early form of one of the major deities of Hinduism.

Even then there still remain doubts when it comes to religious practices for instance, at the “proto-Shiva” seals. The earliest religious text, the Rigveda (compiled c. 1500-1000 BCE) mentions a god named Rudra, which is a name used for Shiva in later Puranic traditions However, unlike Shiva, Rudra in the Rigveda is neither depicted as Pashupati (lord of animals in general and cattle in particular), nor as a yogi. In other words, this depiction does not match the description of Rudra in the Rigveda.

Hence even though seals does help in reconstructing religious beliefs and practices of the Harappan civilization but even then it is no more than a speculation.

Apne ye attachment kaise share kiya . Please tell me. Yogita Ingle.

Har Har Mahadev 🙏 5 years, 2 months ago (5614857)

This is for static friction.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 2 months ago (2577571)

The Graph plotted for the friction and the Force applied on it is attached in the attachment.

From the Attachment, We can see there is a small kink at the top which means after the static friction has been reached a maximum value with the increment in the force applied on it, there is a little decrease in the friction which is just the kink.

Also, we can see that the line is making an angle of 45° with the x-axis. After some time the Force of the friction become constant with the increase in force there is no effect of the  Friction, since it became the constant.

Some reasons for accepting the same Constitution till today are:

  • The Constitution does not reflect the views of its members alone. It expresses a broad consensus of its time.
  • The Constituent Assembly represented the people of India. There was no Universal Adult Franchise at that time. So, the Constituent Assembly could not have been chosen directly by all the people of India but it was elected mainly by the members of Provincial Legislatures, which ensured a fair share of all the regions of the country.
  • The Constituent Assembly worked in a systematic, open and consensual manner.

Impact of the French Revolution:

  1. The French Revolution is significant for the fact that it marked the end of the institution of absolute monarchy in France and saw the establishment of a Republic.
  2. Liberty, Equality and Fraternity, which had become the guiding principles of the French Revolution, also became the foundational values of the French Republic.
  3. The Revolution led to the establishment of a democratic government for the first time in Europe.
  4. Feudalism as an institution was buried by the Revolution, and the Church and the clergy were brought under State control.
  5. It led to the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte as the Emperor of France.
  6. It also signified the end of ancient beliefs and political systems and a qualified acceptance of the new era of Industrial Revolution.
  7. It popularised the idea of nationalism. It also led to the eventual development of the Welfare State.
  8. The success of the French Revolution inspired people all over the world, and especially in Europe. Mobilised by the spirit of nationalism and the ideas of liberty, equality and fraternity, people rose in revolt against the absolutist autocratic State and strived to install democracy as the new form of Government.

The range is the difference between the largest and smallest numbers. The midrange is the average of the largest and smallest number. The range of a set of data is the difference between the highest and lowest values in the set. To find the range, first order the data from least to greatest. Then subtract the smallest value from the largest value in the set. In its simplest form the domain is all the values that go into a function, and the range is all the values that come out.

Adrian is a painter from the south-western French city of Renne. After serving the lords for a long period, Adrian finally found a new job in the cathedral being constructed at Angers. He started his journey early morning for Angers. He seemed to be really happy, as he hoped that this work would help him end his life of exploitation by the lords.

Adrian was spellbound to see the enormous structure of the cathedral being built and the huge number of labourers working. Mr. Elodie, the head craftsman, explained the job to Adrian. He basically had to paint the church windows. In the evening, after a day’s hard work, Adrian received a gold coin as his wage.

Adrian is also a member of a guild. Every day, after his work is over, Adrian attends the guild’s meetings. Here, problems faced by the people of his profession are discussed. Adrian also gets the exposure of the job scenario in the town.

It was a red letter day in the history of South Africa because on this day the despicable policy of apartheid had been officially defeated. It was the grand occasion of swearing in of Nelson Mandela as the President of South Africa. It was a historical moment as he was the first Black President to be elected after three centuries. His party African National Congress won 252 of the 400 seats in the first democratic elections of South Africa’s history.
