An odometer or odograph is an instrument used for measuring the distance traveled by a vehicle, such as a bicycle or car. The device may be electronic, mechanical, or a combination of the two (electromechanical). Speedometer, instrument that indicates the speed of a vehicle, usually combined with a device known as an odometer that records the distance traveled. A speed sensor that has failed may stop the speedometer from working. You may also notice that your vehicle is not running smoothly and you are not able to use the vehicle's cruise control. ... When the fuse for your speedometer stops working, it can cause the speedometer to drop to zero.

Let, the initial velocity = u.
Final velocity = v.
Time = t
Acceleration = a

v = u + at is the first equation of motion.

1J= 10⁷erg
10J = 10×10⁷ erg = 10⁸erg

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 1 month ago (2577571)

we know, 1 Joule = 1 Kg m²/s²
1 erg = 1 g cm²/s²
so, 1 Joule = 1Kg m²/s²
= {1000 g} {100cm}²/s². [ 1kg = 1000g and 1m = 100cm]
= 1000 × 10000 g cm²/s²
= 10000000 erg
hence, 1 Joule = 107 erg
so, 10 Joule = 10 × 107 erg = 108 erg

A heterotroph is an organism that cannot produce its own food, instead taking nutrition from other sources of organic carbon, mainly plant or animal matter. In the food chain, heterotrophs are primary, secondary and tertiary consumers, but not producers.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 1 month ago (2577571)

Heterotrophs are organisms which cannot prepare their own food and depend upon producers or green plants and other animals for their food. This mode of nutrition is known as the heterotrophic mode of nutrition.

Heterotrophs rely on autotrophs to provide a continuous supply of new organic molecules. Heterotrophs are considered as consumers in the food web and are placed at a secondary or tertiary level.

All the non-green plants and animals, inclusive of human beings, are the best examples of heterotrophs.
