- External change refers to changes in forms of family, marriage, class, caste and kinship etc.
- Internal changes refer to changes in the norms and values of the society.
- The rate of change of internal aspects is always slow because the social norms, values and belief gradually become part of the core of personality.

Despotic rule of Louis XVI: He became the ruler of France in 1774. He had drained the financial resources of France in wars. For the cost of his regular extravagant expenses, he increased taxes which were paid by the third estate.
Division of French society: The French society was divided into three estates; first, second and third estates, respectively. Among them, First and Second Estates had 10 per cent of the total population and were the clergy and nobles. They enjoyed all privileges. Rest of the 90 per cent was of the third estate, which paid all kinds of direct or indirect taxes. This kind of discrimination led to the revolution by the third estate.
Rising prices: The population of France had increased. This resulted into more demand of food grains. So the price of bread rose rapidly, which the poor could not afford to buy. So the gap between the rich and poor widened.
Inspiration of the philosophers: Philosophers like John Locke, Jean Jacques Rousseau and Montesquieu propagated the ideas of having a society where people would enjoy freedom, equal laws and equal opportunities. Their ideas inspired the people of France to realise their dreams.
Role of middle class: The 18th century witnessed the emergence of social groups termed as middle class, who earned their wealth through an expanding trade of the manufactured goods, being exported. There were other professionals also like lawyers, administrative officials who were all educated. They believed that no group in society should be privileged by birth.

Following are the social, economic, political and intellectual causes of the French Revolution:
Social - In France, the clergy and the nobility formed the first two Estates and were the most privileged classes in the French society. They were exempt from payment of taxes to the State. On the other hand, the Third Estate that consisted of peasants and workers burdened with excessive taxes with no political and social rights. As a result, they were full of discontent.
Economic - As a result of a numerous wars waged by Louis XVI the State coffers were empty. The situation was made even more complex by France’s involvement in the American War of Independence and the faulty system of taxation.
Political - The Bourbon king of France, Louis XVI was an extremely autocratic and weak willed king who led a life of obscene luxury. This led to a lot of disenchantment among the masses who then were leading life of extreme poverty and widespread hunger.
Intellectual - The 18th century was marked by a conscious refusal by French thinkers of the ‘Divine Rights Theory’. Philosophers like Rousseau, rejected the paradigm of absolute monarchy and promulgated the doctrine of equality of man and sovereignty of people.

The poem ‘The Voice of the Rain’ beautifully shows the continued process of rain which sounds like music to human ears, as it fulfills our needs.
It is an ever going process which sustains human life and provides us with food, pure air and green cover. On the other hand, human lives are mortal. We come on this Earth for a short period and then depart without leaving any mark on this planet. Moreover human beings, for their greed and selfish motives, indulge in destructive activities which may disturb these eternal processes of nature.
We must learn a lesson from nature. If we want peaceful co-existence, we need not disturb the balance of nature, otherwise the whole of humanity will be in danger. We must learn a lesson from such eternal processes and do something good for humanity at large.

Rain is an eternal process benefiting mankind
From the given information of the question ,
Water cycle is responsible to bring rain , which is extremely beneficial for the living organism of the planet Earth ,
As water is an essential need for the survival of living organisms , as it helps to quench thirst , required for the growth of plants , maintain the under water ground level etc.
The need of water and rain is limitless , and hence distorting the rain is equivalent to distorting the needs and comforts.
Therefore ,
we should not disturb this eternal element of nature .

Carter faced many problems when he reached the mummy of King Tut. The resins used to embalm the mummy had hardened, making it difficult to take the body out of the solid gold coffin. So, he decided to place the mummy in the scorching heat to loosen the raisins. But, this did not help at all. Therefore, the body had to be cut. The cut body was then removed in parts and reassembled. The reassembled body was put in a wooden box before it was once again kept in the original place. All this took a lot of time and effort.

Ans. It is a September afternoon. The laburnum tree stands in a desolate place. It is silent and still until the goldfinch arrives to feed her chicks. The silent tree comes to life. The little chicks start up a noise like that of a steam engine.

Here are points in favor of the topic given.
1. Social media is used for cyber-bullying.
2. Fake friends, friendship is limited by 'likes', not many of these so-called friends stand with us in our tough times.
3. Some cliche stuff like how we wish our mothers a very happy mothers day on social media but fail to help them in real life.
4. Influencers have taken over the social media creating a false image of beauty.
5. There is a drift in people regarding the material they share on social media.
Yogita Ingle 5 years, 1 month ago (2577571)
Against the topic:
Social media is a platform for sharing ideas, information and points of view. This can have important educational value: it extends the information young people can access while also giving them insight into how others think about and use that information...
For those children who feel marginalized in their local community, social media can help them connect with other people who share the same interests or outlook on life.
In some cases, teenagers with critical problems can turn to social networks for fast support and guidance. There are plenty of groups that offer such help online.
Social media is also an important platform for driving social issues, such as racial issues, to greater national and international attention.
In recent years, the social media, and especially Twitter, have emerged as important, near real-time communication channels and technologies during emergency response. Social media consist of tools that enable the open an online exchange of information through conversation, interaction and exchange of user-generated conten
