(i) 2x2 – 3x + 5 = 0
Here, a = 2, b = -3, c = 5
b2 – 4ac = (-3)2 – 4(2) (5
= 9 – 40 = -31
b2 – 4ac = -31 < 0
It has no real roots.

(iii) 2x2 – 6x + 3 = 0

Here, a = 2, b = -6, c = 3

b2 – 4ac = (-6)2 – 4(2)(3) = 36 – 24 = 12

∴ b2 – 4ac = 12 > 0.

∴ It has two distinct roots. 2x2 – 6x + 3 = 0 Here, a = 2, b = -3, c = 3

i) Consider the equation, 2x2-3x+5=0 Comparing with it ax2+bx+c=0 We get, a=2,b=-3,c=5 Discriminant(D)=b2-4ac =(-3)2-(4)(2)(5) =9-40 =-31 Since,D<0 No real roots is possible for the given equation.

Science (from the Latin word scientia, meaning "knowledge") is a systematic enterprise that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe. The Universe represented as multiple disk-shaped slices across time, which passes from left to right The earliest roots of science can be traced to Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia in around 3500 to 3000 BCE. Their contributions to mathematics, astronomy, and medicine entered and shaped Greek natural philosophy of classical antiquity, whereby formal attempts were made to provide explanations of events in the physical world based on natural causes.[5][6] After the fall of the Western Roman Empire, knowledge of Greek conceptions of the world deteriorated in Western Europe during the early centuries (400 to 1000 CE) of the Middle Ages but was preserved in the Muslim world during the Islamic Golden Age.

Blood supports growth by distributing nutrients and hormones, and by removing waste. Red blood cells contain hemoglobin, which binds oxygen. These cells deliver oxygen to the cells and remove carbon dioxide.
Blood plays a protective role by transporting clotting factors and platelets to prevent blood loss after injury. Blood also transports the disease-fighting agents white blood cells

Given: ABCD be a parallelogram circumscribing a circle with centre O.

To prove: ABCD is a rhombus.

We know that the tangents drawn to a circle from an exterior point are equal in length.

Therefore, AP = AS, BP = BQ, CR = CQ and DR = DS.

Adding the above equations,

AP + BP + CR + DR = AS + BQ + CQ + DS

(AP + BP) + (CR + DR) = (AS + DS) + (BQ + CQ)

AB + CD = AD + BC

2AB = 2BC

(Since, ABCD is a parallelogram so AB = DC and AD = BC)

AB = BC

Therefore, AB = BC = DC = AD.

Hence, ABCD is a rhombus.

Blood plasma is a yellowish liquid component of blood that holds the blood cells of whole blood in suspension. It is the liquid part of the blood that carries cells and proteins throughout the body. It makes up about 55% of the body's total blood volume. Plasma constitutes 55% of total blood volume. Composed of 90% water, salts, lipids and hormones, it is especially rich in proteins (including its main protein albumin), immunoglobulins, clotting factors and fibrinogen.

Firstly, consider that the given circle will touch the sides AB and AC of the triangle at point E and F respectively.

Let AF = x

Now, in ABC,

CF = CD = 6cm  (Tangents drawn from an exterior point to a circle are equal. Here, tangent is drawn from exterior point C)

BE = BD = 8cm  (Tangents drawn from an exterior point to a circle are equal. Here, tangent is drawn from exterior point B)

AE = AF = x  (Again, tangents drawn from an exterior point to a circle are equal. Here, tangent is drawn from exterior point A)

Now, AB = AE + EB

x + 8

Also, BC = BD + DC = 8 + 6 = 14 and CA = CF + FA = 6 + x

Now, we get all the sides of a triangle so its area can be find out by using Heron's formula as:

2s = AB + BC + CA

x + 8 + 14 + 6 + x

= 28 + 2x

⇒ Semi-perimeter = s = (28 + 2x)/2 = 14 + x

Again, area of triangle is also equal to the . Therefore,

Area of ΔOBC =

Area of ΔOCA =

Area of ΔOAB =

Area of ΔABC = Area of ΔOBC + Area of ΔOCA + Area of ΔOAB

On squaring both sides, we get

Either x+14 = 0 or x − 7 =0

Therefore, x = −14and 7

However, = −14 is not possible as the length of the sides will be negative.

Therefore, x = 7

Hence, AB = x + 8 = 7 + 8 = 15 cm

CA = 6 + x = 6 + 7 = 13 cm

Here the class intervals are not continuous. To make them continuous take the mean of upper limit of first class and lower limit of second class.
Mean = (19+20)/2 = 19.5, which gives the upper limit of first class and lower limit of second class for the continuous class intervals.

Answer:

24 sides

Step-by-step explanation:

A polygon is any two dimensional shape formed with the straight lines. Triangles, pentagons, quadrilaterals, and hexagons are all examples of the polygons. The name itself tells as to how many sides the shape has. For example, a triangle has three sides, whereas a quadrilateral has four sides.

Thus, when the regular polygon have if each of its interior angle is 165° then,

The corresponding exterior angle must be 180-165 = 15°

The sum of ALL the exterior angles is 360°

Sides of exterior angles is 360/15 = 24

Therefore the number of sides a regular polygon will have is 24
