More energy is produced in aerobic respiration
The oxidative breakdown of respiratory substrates with the help of atmospheric oxygen is known as aerobic respiration. It involves the complete breakdown of substrates into carbon dioxide and water releasing energy. The energy released per mole of glucose is 686 Kcal or 2870 kJ. Oxidation of respiratory substrates in the absence of atmospheric oxygen is termed as anaerobic respiration. It involves an incomplete breakdown of respiratory substrates in which the end products such as ethanol or lactic acid are produced and carbon dioxide is released. The amount of energy released in this case is 247 kJ.

A plane mirror is a mirror with a flat (planar) reflective surface. For light rays striking a plane mirror, the angle of reflection equals the angle of incidence. ... Plane mirrors are the only type of mirror for which a real object always produces an image that is virtual, erect and of the same size as the object.

Law of Chemical Combination
(1) Law of Conservation of Mass
In a chemical change, total mass remains conserved. i.e. mass before the reaction is equal to mass after the reaction
H2(g)+Cl2(g)⟶2HCl
Mass before reaction=2+71=73g
Mass after reaction=2x36.5=73g
(2) Law of constant or Definite Proportions
All Chemical compounds are found to have constant composition irrespective of their method of preparation or source.
For g. in water (H2O), hydrogen and oxygen combine in 2:1 molar ratio, this ratio remains constant whether it is tap water or river water.
(3) Law of Multiple Proportions
When one element combines with the other elements to form two or more different compounds, the mass of one element which combines with a constant mass of the other, bear a simple ratio to one another.
For eg. C and O2 reacts together to form CO and CO2. Here, fixed mass of carbon (12g) reacting with different masses of oxygen (16g and 32g) . Therefore, ratio of the masses of oxygen has ratio 16:32 or 1:2

The reasoning being given in favour of continued usage of single-use plastic showcases both shallow (lacking depth) and myopic (short-sighted) thinking. Man tries to make life more convenient, but it is not possible to prioritise convenience all the time. For instance, stopping at traffic signals, waiting for one's turn at the doctor's clinic or even opening and shutting doors are inconvenient. However, each of these activities is important, because there are certain rules that need to be followed to avoid greater inconvenience in terms of accidents, disorganised dealing and security. Likewise, banning single-use plastic is necessary to prevent greater problems, particularly environmental issues. Single-use plastic over time is known to cause pollution, affect life on land as well as in water and upset ecosystems, which in turn can make survival of humans very difficult. Thus, if one weighs the options of convenience and survival, it becomes clear that convenience is a short term joy, while survival is a long term goal. It is evident that the argument for using such plastic is invalid.

The body composition means the amount of the fat-free body weight. It is well known that a high percentage of body fat in relation to the total body weight is harmful and may lead to obesity from the health point of view, the normal percentage of body fat for young men and women should not exceed 15 and 25 percentage. It means that for health-related fitness an individual should have ideal body weight and fat percentage.

The ironmaster misunderstood the peddler for an old acquaintance, whereas his daughter could make out that the man was afraid, which was suggestive of him having stolen something. Though the father and the daughter express compassion for the vagabond both do so for different reasons.The ironmaster was sure to help the vagabond get over his tramp manners because he had mistaken the latter for his old comrade. The daughter, however, wishes to feed him and welcome him in spite of knowing that he was not Captain Von Stahle. The father acts impulsively and casually and invites him without confirming the stranger’s identity. On realising his mistake he recklessly wants to hand him over to the sheriff. Only when he is threatened to be ensnared by the rattrap of this world, he thinks otherwise. Edla, on the other hand, shows a strong sense of observation. She rightly judges him to be a tramp without any education. She persuades her father to let him stay because they had promised him Christmas cheer. When the blacksmith’s daughter infects the protagonist with her true altruism the peddler’s inner soul experiences a rapid transformation form an ugly duckling to a dazzling swan.

Self-awareness is knowing yourself. It’s about knowing your emotions, strengths and challenges, and how your emotions affect your behavior and decisions. Self-awareness is key to managing actions and setting goals for the future, and it is a skill that will help your teen thrive. In high school, your teen may gain a better understanding of their strengths and challenges and start making choices based on their abilities. For example, they may join clubs, groups or teams based on that knowledge, and they may be better able to separate what they want for themselves from what their friends want them to do. They may also begin to set longer-term goals like getting into college or getting a job.

Einstein’s photoelectric equation,
Kmax=hν−ϕ0 where
Kmax is the max kinetic energy of emitted electrons and ϕ0 is the work function.
According to Planck’s quantum theory, light radiations consist of small packets of energy. Einstein postulated that a photon of energy hv is absorbed by the electron of the metal surface, then the energy is used to liberate electron from the surface and rest of the energy becomes the kinetic energy of the electron.
Energy of photon is,
E=hv
Where, h = Planck’s constant
v = frequency of light
The minimum energy required by the electron of a material to escape out of it, is work function.
The additional energy acquired by the electron appears as the maximum kinetic energy ‘Kmax’ of the electron.
Einstein's photoelectric equation
Kmax=eVo
Salient features observed in photoelectric effect: —
The stopping potential and hence the maximum kinetic energy of emitted electrons varies linearly with the frequency of incident radiation.
There exists a minimum cut - off frequency , for which the stopping potential is zero.
Photoelectric emission is instantaneous.
Gaurav Seth 5 years ago (2898529)
Einstein's photoelectric equation is Ek = hv -W for a single photon ejecting a single electron.
(i) Explanation of frequency law: When frequency of incident photon (v), increases, the kinetic energy of emitted electron increases. Intensity has no effect on kinetic energy of photoelectrons.
(ii) Explanation of intensity law: When intensity of incident light increases, the number of incident photons increases, as one photon ejects one electron; the increase in intensity will increase the number of ejected electrons. In other words, photocurrent will increase with increase of intensity. Frequency has no effect on photocurrent.
(iii) Explanation of no time lag law: When the energy of incident photon is greater than work function, the photoelectron is immediately ejected. Thus there is no time lag between incidence of light and emission of photoelectrons.c
