The mountainous region of the upper Indus receives precipitation largely in the form of snow. A large amount of the Indus's water is provided by melting snows and glaciers of the Karakoram, Hindu Kush, and Himalayan ranges. The monsoon rains (July to September) provide the rest of the flow.

Mendel followed the inheritance of 7 traits in pea plants, and each trait had 2 forms. He identified pure-breeding pea plants that consistently showed 1 form of a trait after generations of self-pollination. He found that all of the first-generation (F1) hybrids looked like 1 of the parent plants.

Cell Theory: In the year 1838 two German scientists - Mathias Jacob Schleiden and Theodore Schwann gave the famous cell theory which states as follows:

  1. All living things are composed of cells and cell products.
  2. Cells are the structural and functional units of all living things.
  3. All metabolic reactions in living things (unicellular or multicellular) take place within the cell.

The cell theory was later modified by Rudolf Virchow (1885) who stated that all the cells arise from pre-existing cell to the division of work that we have in our society.

Evaporation is the process of conversion of a liquid into vapor at a temperature below its boiling point. It is a surface phenomenon. Boiling is the process by which a liquid turns into a vapor when it is heated at its boiling point.

Xyz P 4 years, 6 months ago (11159819)

No,evaporation is slower process, occurs only from the surface of the liquid, does not produce bubbles, and leads to cooling. Boiling is faster procces, can occur throughout the liquid, produces lots of bubbles, and does not result in cooling.
