(i) for minimum, connect the capacitors in series.

Thus, 1/Ceq = 1/8 + 1/12 + 1/24

thus, Ceq = 4 μF

then formula for finding charge = Ceq*V

therefore, charge = 4*100 = 400μC

(ii)  for maximum capacitance,

connect the capacitors in parallel

thus, Ceq = 8 + 12 + 24 = 44μF

thus, charge = 100*44 = 4400μC

Sher Singh 4 years, 4 months ago (10787241)

Capacitors can be connected in two different ways : for getting maximum capacitance they are connected in parallel combination and to get minimum capacitance they are connected in series combination. So capictance in parallel is:44uC and capacitance in series is:4uC

Centralization means concentration of authority at the top level. In other words, centralization is a situation in which top management retains most of the decision making authority.

Decentralization means disposal of decision making authority to all the levels of the organization. In other words, sharing authority downwards is decentralization.

According to Fayol, “Degree of centralization or decentralization depends on no. of factors like size of business, experience of superiors, dependability & ability of subordinates etc.

Anything which increases the role of subordinate is decentralization & anything which decreases it is centralization.

Fayol suggested that absolute centralization or decentralization is not feasible. An organization should strike to achieve a lot between the two.

(a) s-block elements:

All of the s-block elements are unified by the fact that their valence electrons (outermost electrons) are in an s orbital. The s orbital is spherical and can be occupied by a maximum of two electrons. All of the s-block elements are metals. In general, they are shiny, silvery, good conductors of heat and electricity and lose their valence electrons easily. In fact, they lose their trademark s orbital valence electrons so easily that the s-block elements are the most reactive elements.

(b) p- block elements:

Following are the properties of p-block elements.

  • They are solids/liquids/gases at room temperature (Br is liquid)
  • They have variable oxidation states
  • They form acidic oxides
  • Generally, they form covalent compounds
  • Halogens form salts with alkali metals
  • They have high ionization potentials
  • They have very large electron gain enthalpies
  • The aqueous solutions their oxides are acidic in nature.

(c) d-block elements:

  • Form stable complexes
  • Have high melting and boiling points
  • Contain large charge/radius ratio
  • Form compounds which are often paramagnetic
  • Are hard and possess high densities
  • Form compounds with profound catalytic activity
  • Show variable oxidation states
  • Form coloured ions and compounds.

(d) f-block elements:

  • They are usually heavy metals
  • These elements have a generally higher melting and boiling point
  • They display a variety of oxidisation states
  • These elements tend to form coloured ions
  • They form complex compounds

‘Grow more trees to reduce pollution.’

Pollution is one of the serious problems that are faced by the whole world. There are so many toxic constituents which pollute our environment.

Trees are boon for us. These are our true friend. They work as a purifier in the world. Trees and forests are the living places of animals and birds. Many tribal people and forest people live in the forest. These are very helpful for us as they provide us with many useful things like food, shelter, furniture, fuel etc. Trees and forests are the lungs of the world. Trees provide us with shade and also save us from soil erosion, floods, and droughts. It is a very heinous activity of the human beings that they are clearing the forests and cutting the trees. They are indulging in deforestation at an alarming scale. By cutting the trees, human beings are disturbing the ecological balance. And because of the deforestation, many species of plants, herbs, birds, and animals have become extinct.

We should grow more and more trees and should practice afforestation because it is the only ways by which we can protect our earth. ‘Save trees and save your life’.

he remainder is 2.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we gave given that

when k is divided by 21, it gives a remainder of 9

So, when the same number k is divided by 7, we need to find the remainder.

Since 21 is divisible by 7.

and remainder will be 0.

In such a case, we will consider the remainders only.

So, 9÷7, we get 2 as a remainder

because, 9 = 7×1 +2

Hence, the remainder is 2.
