Let (-4, 6) divide AB internally in the ratio k:1. Using the section formula, we get
{tex}( - 4,6 ) = \left( \frac { 3 k - 6 } { k + 1 } , \frac { - 8 k + 10 } { k + 1 } \right){/tex}
So, {tex}- 4 = \frac { 3 k - 6 } { k + 1 }{/tex}
i.e., -4k - 4 = 3k - 6
i.e., 7k = 2
i.e., k:1 = 2:7
The same can be checked for the y-coordinate also.
Therefore, the ratio in which the point (-4,6) divides the line segment AB is 2: 7.

Below is a graph given showing birth and death rates in a country from 1901 to 2101. Write an analytical paragraph (100-150 words).

The graph shows birth and death rates starting from 1901 till 2101. Since 1901, the birth rate has remained more than the death rate until 2041. Birth rate was 20000 in 1901 and started increasing gradually. It peaked in 1961 to around 65000. From 1961, birth rate has fluctuated multiple times between 50000 and 60000. It is expected to decline for the coming years reaching approximately 42000 by 2101. On the other hand, the death rate stood at around 10000 in 1901 and then has increased steadily. It is expected to rise strikingly from 2021 before levelling off to approximately 60000 between 2061 and 2081. The graph indicates a slight decline in deaths in the year 2101. The graph shows the huge gap between birth rate and death during 1961 to 2001. However, this gap is expected to reduce in the later years. Overall, as opposed to the prevailing trends, the death rate will be more than the birth rate in the later half of the 21st century.

Dhamar is one of the talas used in Hindustani classical music from the Indian subcontinent. It is associated with the dhrupad style and typically played on the pakhawaj.
Dhamar taal has 14 beats (matras) grouped asymmetrically into a 5-2-3-4 pattern.
A song in dhrupad style set to dhamar tala is also called a dhamar. The text of a dhamar concerns the antics of Krishna teasing the milkmaids during the Holi (hori) Spring Festival of colours. It is considered a relatively light, gentle, and romantic musical form.
The theka or syllabic pattern of dhamar tala is:

The title of the chapter ‘The Birth’ is perfect. The theme of the story is about a young doctor, Andrew dealing with a critical birth case. The baby is born lifeless. He takes certain decisions that prove quite successful. Not only he succeeds in saving the mother who is in critical condition after the delivery, but also succeeds in reviving the child. So the baby born lifeless is born again owing to the efforts of the dedicated doctor. Hence the title is perfectly appropriate and justified.
