According to article 371, jammu kashmir had its own constitution. People who weren't permanent residents of JK were not allowed to buy land there. There are some units of our country called union territories. Our govt has special powers to run them.

Special provision is given to some states in india like before the removal of article 371 some north eastern states enjoy special privilege and jammu and kashmir earlier had its own flag and constitution.

There are some units of the Indian Union which enjoy very little power. These are areas which are too small to become an independent State but which could not be merged with anyof the existing States. These areas, like Chandigarh, or Lakshadweep or the capital city of Delhi, are called Union Territories.
