बढ़ती आबादी ने पर्यावरण में असंतुलन पैदा कर दिया है| साथ ही बढती हुई अवादी ने पर्यावरण को निम्नलिखित तरीकों से प्रभावित किया है- (क) बढ़ती हुई आबादी ने समुद्र को पीछे धकेल दिया है और पेड़ों को अपने रास्ते से हटा दिया है। (ख) समुद्र के रेतीले तटों पर भी मानव ने बस्ती बसा दी। (ग) पेड़ो को काट कर पशु-पक्षी से उनके घर छीन लिए हैं| इससे विवश होकर उन्हें अपना प्राक्रतिक आवास छोड़कर भागना पड़ा है। (घ) वातावरण में गर्मी बढ़ने लगी, मौसम चक्र टूट गया, बरसातें बेवक्त होने लगीं। (ङ) नए रोग पैदा होने लगे है। (च) पर्यावरण दूषित हो गया है।

बढ़ती हुई आबादी के कारण पर्यावरण दिन प्रति दिन नष्ट होते जा रहा है। अपने फायदे के लिए लोग हर जगह से पेड़ कांट रहें हैं, नदियों को दूषित कर दे रहे है। बिना अपने भविष्य के चिंता करे सभी लोग आज मज़ा कर रहे हैं किन्तु एक समय ऐसा भी आएगा जब कुछ नही बचेगा और प्रकृति हमसे नाराज़ हो हमें कठिन सज़ा देगी। उदाहरण: जिस प्रकार हमारे पाठ में नदी सिमटते सिमटते सबकी खुशी का मान मान रखते रखते जब मनुष्य ने अपना हद पार कर दिया तब नदी ने गुस्से में आकर सभी नाओ को हवा में उठा फेका।

Colloid is a heterogeneous mixture. Thr size of particles of a colloid is too small to be individually seen by naked eyes. They don't settle down when left undisturbed, that is, a colloid is quite stable. Colloid are big enough to scatter a beam of light passing through it and make its path visible.
