Mail merge lets you create a batch of documents that are personalized for each recipient. For example, a form letter might be personalized to address each recipient by name. A data source, like a list, spreadsheet, or database, is associated with the document.

Mail merge lets you create a batch of documents that are personalized for each recipient. For example, a form letter might be personalized to address each recipient by name. A data source, like a list, spreadsheet, or database, is associated with the document.

The advantages of Mail Merge are as follows:

  1. The Mail Merge feature makes it easy to send the same letter to a large number of people.
  2. By using Mail Merge, we don’t have to type each recipient’s name separately in each letter.
  3. We need to proofread only the main document.
  4. It is economical and saves a lot of time.
  5. It is one of the fastest ways to produce hundreds of personalised letters.
  6. It is easy to edit the letter as a single change made in the main letter will be reflected in the letters meant for all other recipients.

A village is a small group of settlements while a city is a large group of settlements. Although some might also be found in urban areas, villages are usually located in rural areas while cities are urban centers. A city has local laws while a village does not; it is administered by a parish council and is a part of a town. A village is located in a smaller land area while a city has a large land area. The land, housing, transportation, utilities, and sanitation systems of a city are more complex than that of a village. A city is a big and populous settlement which is an important center of commerce and culture. It has local laws and intricate land, housing, sanitation, utilities, and transportation systems. A village is a small group of settlements that is usually located in a rural area although they can also be found in several urban areas. It is larger than a hamlet but smaller than a town. The people living in a village generally have a similar culture and form a community while the society of the city is heterogeneous in nature.
