The Indian Parliament is a bicameral legislature. It consists of two houses: Rajya Sabha which is the upper chamber of the Parliament and Lok Sabha which is the lower chamber of the parliament.
The powers and functions can be classified into the following categories:
1.Legislative powers and functions:
The primary function of Parliament is law-making. Lok Sabha plays an important part here. It can pass bills concerning the Union and Concurrent list. No bill can be made into law unless it has been passed by the Parliament.
2. Executive powers and functions:
Executive powers are needed in the process of implementing acts and policies in Parliament. The Parliament can remove the Cabinet out of power.
3. Financial powers and functions:
Parliament enjoys supreme authority in financial matters. It includes enactment of the budget, examining the performance of government concerning financial spending through financial committees.
4. Judicial powers and functions:
It includes impeachment of the President for violation of the constitution, removal of judges of the supreme and high court, removal of vice-president, and punishment of its members or outsiders for breach of privileges.
5. Electoral powers and functions:
All Parliament members participate in the election of President and Vice-President. The members of Lok Sabha elect its speaker and deputy speaker from among its members. The Rajya Sabha elects its Deputy Chairman.
6. Constituent powers and functions:
Parliament is empowered to initiate a proposal for the amendment of the constitution. A bill for the amendment initiated in either House of the Parliament.
Note: India has a parliamentary system of government. The functions and powers of the Indian Parliament are mentioned in the Indian Constitution in Chapter II of Part V. The laws framed by the Parliament are enforced in the whole country. The Parliament is the highest-ranking legislative body in the country.

Click Edit Document > Edit in Word for the web to make changes to a document. When you open a document from OneDrive, Word for the web displays it in Reading view. To make changes to your document, switch to Editing view, where you can add and delete content and do other things, such as: Add tables and pictures.

Most of the atmosphere is nitrogen, which can be absorbed by soil bacteria to help plants grow. Carbon dioxide and oxygen gases in the atmosphere are also needed for life. Plants need carbon dioxide for photosynthesis.

हादज़ा शिकारियों व संग्राहकों का एक छोटा समूह था जो 'लेक इयासी' एक खारे पानी की झील के आसपास रहते थे। हादज़ा लोग आमतौर पर अपने शिविर जलस्रोत से एक किलोमीटर की दूरी पर पेड़ों या चट्टानों के बीच तथा जहाँ पर सुविधाएँ मौजूद हों वहाँ बनाते थे। पूर्वी हादज़ा लोग जमीन तथा संसाधनों पर अपने अधिकारों का दावा नहीं करते, क्योंकि वे अपना अधिकांश जीवन भोजन की तलाश व कंदमूल, फल-फूल की खोज में ही अस्थायी शिविरों में बिताते थे।

A fuse that has a lower rating would result in a problem as one may need to frequently change it. A fuse that has a higher rating would not melt at higher currents too . this may lead to damage to the appliance. Therefore, the fuse should be replaced with that of an identical rating.

Differences between first and second-generation computer
1) The first generation computer made use of vacuum tubes as internal component, whereas transistors were used in the second generation.
2) First generation computers operate in Machine language, while that of the second generation operate in assembly language.
3) The first generation computer was a low speed computer, in contrast to the second generation computer which was 10 times faster.
4) First generation computers are large in size, while computers of the second generation are smaller and more portable.
5) The main memory of the first generation computer is in form of magnetic drum, while the main memory of the second generation computer is in form of RAM and ROM.
6) In the first generation, Magnetic tapes were used for computer storage, while in the second generation, magnetic core technology was used.
7) The first generation computer generates a lot of heat thereby consuming high power. While the second generation computer generates less heat and consumes low power.
8) The first generation computers made use of punched cards which were not in use in the second generation.
9) Second generation computer has a wider commercial use and more reliability than the first generation computer
10) Lastly, the second generation computer differs from the First generation mainly because of its addition of set of index registers and arithmetic circuits.
