IMPACT OF POPULATION CHANGE Positive impact of Population change are: Nations with higher populations are better able to raise money on a national level, and this can lead to more international clout. China, for example, has a relatively low per capita income, but its large population gives it tremendous influence. Increasing population ensures increase in the labor force. Lack of growth in the labor force will make a country static, retarded and gets to equilibrium at less than full employment level of the economy. Investors would like to invest in a country with a large population. As the population continues to grow so will be the growth in demand for food, shelter, clothing etc. Negative impact of Population change As a result of overpopulation, the available resources would not be able to do round and this will result to poverty in the country. Overpopulation leads to unemployment, this is as a result of the number of people looking for job outruns available resources. Low Per capita income if production level does not increase Increase in imports, which will result to balance of payments deficit

When the population growth rate is positive, per capita income growth is positive and increasing in the population growth rate. On the other hand, when the population growth rate is negative, contrary to expectations, per capita income growth remains positive, but is decreasing in the population growth rate.

Pearl Singh 5 years, 6 months ago

Positive change in population is increase in growth rate and negative change can be decrease in growth rate

Meghna Thapar 5 years, 6 months ago

The word 'Yoga' is derived from the Sanskrit root 'Yuj', meaning 'to join' or 'to yoke' or 'to unite'. As per Yogic scriptures the practice of Yoga leads to the union of individual consciousness with that of the Universal Consciousness, indicating a perfect harmony between the mind and body, Man & Nature.

Yoga means union – union of the individual soul with the Universal Soul, with the whole humanity, with nature and with oneself. This union leads to spiritual enlightenment and a life filled with happiness and positive attitudes.

Gram equivalent weight is equal to mass in grams numerically equal to Equivalent Weight. To calculate the Gram Equivalent Weight, we use the formula Eq = MW / n. Here we will learn how to calculate the Equivalent Weight Formula of a compound.

If the mass of a chemical entity is g grams, then the given mass contains gram equivalents given by valency factor× moles.

Tanya ?? 5 years, 6 months ago

The equivalent weight of an element is its gram atomic weight divided by its valence (combining power)

Gross national product (GNP) is an estimate of total value of all the final products and services turned out in a given period by the means of production owned by a country's residents. For example, the GNP of the United States is $250 billion higher than its GDP due to the high number of production activities by U.S. citizens in overseas countries. Most countries around the world use GDP to measure economic activity in their country. Also known as the expenditure approach to measuring GNP, this method calculates the value of the GNP as the sum of the four components of GNP expenditures: consumption, investment, government purchases, and net exports. The expenditure method accounts for the source of the monetary demand for products and services.

A light emitting diode is simply a forward biased p-n junction which emits spontaneous light radiation. When forward  bias is applied, the electron and holes at the junction recombine and energy released is emitted in the form of light. For visible radiation phosphorus doped GaAs is commonly used.  The advantages of LEDs are:  (i) Low operational voltage and less power.  (ii) Fast action with no warm up time.  (iii) Emitted light is nearly monochromatic radiation.  (iv) They have long life.
