1857 का विद्रोह सही मायने में एक विशाल आंदोलन था , यह भारतीय इति आस का पहला विद्रोह था जिसने अंग्रेज़ो की नीव उखाड़ दी थी। इस विद्रोह में समाज के सभी तबकों के लोग शामिल हुए थे ,इस आंदोलन की शरुआत तो पदेल सैनिको से हुए थी परंतु जल्दी ही यह एक विशाल जन विद्रोह में तब्दील हो गया था। 1857 के विद्रोह में भले ही सभी लोग शामिल हुए थे लेकिन सभी की मांग अलग अलग थी। 1.नवाब, सम्राट ,= नवाब ओर सम्राट इस विद्रोह में इसलिए शामिल हुए थे क्युकी वह अपनी खोई हुई सता प्राप्त करना चाहते थे जो अंग्रेज़ो ने उनसे छिना था। 2. तालुकदार , जमींदार = तालुकदार ओर जमींदार इसलिए शामिल हुए थे क्युकी अंग्रेज़ो ने उनकी जमींदारी हथिया ली थी , वह अपने दुर्ग, जमींदारी वापस प्राप्त करना चाहते थे। 3. किसान = किसान अंग्रेज़ो की दमनकारी ओर क्रूर नीतियों से परेशान थे, वह जमीन पर अपना स्वतंत्र अधिकार ओर उपज की उचित कीमत की मांग कर रहे थे। 4. वायपरी, उद्योगपति =वायपारी लोग इसलिए शामिल हुए थे क्युकी अंग्रेज़ो ने बड़े उद्योग अपने हाथ में ले लिए थे , ओर उन्होंने छोटे उद्योगों पर अधिक कर लगा दिया था, वायपर वायपर पर अपने एकाधिकार के लिए लड़ रहे थे। 5. पंडित , मौलवी = पंडित ओर मौलवी इसलिए शामिल हुए थे क्योंकी वह ईसाई धर्म के विरुद्ध थे , उनका मानना था कि अंग्रेज़ उनके धर्म को भ्रष्ट करके उन्हे ईसाई बनाना चाहते थे, वह अपने धर्म को सुरक्षित करना चाहते थे। 6.भारतीय सैनिक = सैनिक विद्रोह में इसलिए शामिल हुए थे क्योंकी अंग्रेज़ उनके साथ अन्य अंग्रेजी सिपाहियो के समान व्यवहार नहीं करते थे , उन्हे समय पर छुट्टी नहीं देते थे और उन्हें वेतन भी कम दिया जाता था। 1857 का विद्रोह में सभी लोग शामिल हुए थे लेकिन सभी के उद्देश्य अलग अलग थे ,सबकी अपने व्यक्तिगत हित के लिए लड़ग रहे थे न कि देश के हित के लिए ,इसी कारण यह विद्रोह भी असफल रहा था।

When salt is spread over snow covered roads, snow starts melting from the surface because depression of freezing point of water takes place due to addition of salt. It helps in clearing of roads.
