Management can be defined as, the process of getting things done with the aim of achieving organizational goals effectively and efficiently.
Characteristics of Management: Following are the main characteristics of management:
Management is a Goal Oriented Process: No goal in the hand-no need of management. In other words, we need management when we have some goals to be achieved. A manager on the basis of his knowledge and experience tries to achieve the goals which are already decided. Hence, nothing is wrong to say that management is a goal oriented process.
Management is all Pervasive: Anything minus management is nothing or zero. Here, by anything we mean all types of activities-business and non-business. If we deduct management out of these activities, the result will be failure or zero. It means management is necessary to conduct any type of activities. Hence, it is pervasive or universal.
Management is a Group Activity: It means that it is not a single person who con-summates all the activities of an organisation but it is always a group of persons (Managers).Hence, management is a group effort.
Management is an Intangible Force: Management is that power which cannot be seen. It can only be felt. If any organisation is heading toward higher levels of achievement, it signifies an existence of good management and vice-versa.
Management is based on some principles which are dynamic: Principles of management are changing according to the changing business environment. For the reason that environment is dynamic, many old principles have been replaced by new ones.

Emasculation is the process of removal of stamens from a bisexual flower before they shed pollen in order to prevent self-pollination and permit cross-pollination of . stigma with unwanted pollen. During breeding, the breeder wants to make sure that the desired pollen grains are used for pollination and the stigma is protected from contamination (from unwanted pollen).

The neighbours India and China are the largest Asian countries and the most populous countries. Both countries extend influence and control on the periphery of their borders. However, their regions never overlapped. Thus, their influence on each other was minimal.
After India’s independence from British rule, it was believed that both nations (India–China) would come together to develop Asia. This belief briefly made the slogan ‘Hindi–Chini bhai bhai’ popular. However, soon both states were involved in differences arising from the Chinese takeover of Tibet in 1950 and the final settlement of the Sino-Indian border. Both nations were involved in a border conflict in 1962 over territorial claims principally in Arunachal Pradesh and in the Aksai region of Ladakh. This further increased the tension between the two countries and the peaceful negotiations failed. Diplomatic relations between India and China were downgraded until 1976.
After the Cold War came to an end, significant changes have taken place in the relation between the countries. Both governments aim to curb conflict and maintain peace and tranquillity on the border. They have also signed agreements on cultural exchanges and cooperation in science and technology and opened border posts for trade.
