Itna kabhi type nahi kiya th@ ???

Dr.Niraj Kumar 6 years, 7 months ago

No.The current in a wire is due to flow of free electrons in a proper direction. But the number of proton in the wire at any instant is equal to the number of electron and charge on electron is equal and opposite to that of proton.Hence net charge on the wire is zero

Amol Gùpta 6 years, 7 months ago

wire carrying current is electrically charged. ... Well the wire is neutral as the net charge present is zero. It is carrying current due to the motion of charged particles (electrons) but not due to add/loss of charge, which would have made it charged.

dielectric gets polarised in opposite direction and, electric field inside dielectric decreases

Amol Gùpta 6 years, 7 months ago

Thnx

Dr.Niraj Kumar 6 years, 7 months ago

A dielectric material gets polarized when it placed in an electric field. The field produce due to the polarization of material minimize the effect of external field. Hence, the electric field inside a dielectric decreases when it is placed in an external electric field.

cell constant. [′sel ‚kän·stənt] (physical chemistry) The ratio of distance between conductance-titration electrodes to the area of the electrodes, measured from the determined resistance of a solution of known specific conductance.

Yogita Ingle 6 years, 7 months ago

The quantity l/A is called cell constant denoted by the symbol, G*.It depends on the distance between the electrodes and their area of cross-section and has the dimension of length–1 and can be calculated if we know l and A. Measurement of l and A is not only inconvenient but also unreliable. The cell constant is usually determined by measuring the resistance of the cell containing a solution whose conductivity is already known. For this purpose, we generally use KCl solutions whose conductivity is known accurately at various concentrations and at different temperatures. The cell constant, G*, is then given by the equation:
G* =l/A= Rκ

Primary sludge is generated by sedimentation of soil, dust and other impurities during primary treatment. The partially cleaned water is then subjected to secondary treatment where it is aerated. Aerobic bacteria, fungi and slime moulds grow and decompose organic matter. The sedimentation of aerobic bacteria generates activated sludge. This is also used as inoculum during next cycle.
