it is double stranded, has phosphodiester bond,it consist of thymine which is stable.

Harpreet Kaur 6 years, 7 months ago

DNA is more stable than rna because firstly DNA has one oh group while rna has two . More the number of functional group more is the reactivity and less is stability. Secondly in DNA a binds with t which is stable base while in rna a binds with u which is unstable. Hence DNA is more stable .

Shivam Chaurasia 6 years, 7 months ago

Many proteins have a quaternary structure, which consists of several polypeptide chains that associate into an oligomeric molecule. Each polypeptide chain in such a protein is called a subunit. ... In domain swapping, a secondary or tertiary element of a monomeric protein is replaced by the same element of another protein. Many protein molecules are composed of more than one subunit, where each subunit is a separate polypeptide chain and can form a stable folded structure by itself. In structural biology, a protein subunit is a single protein molecule that assembles (or "coassembles") with other protein molecules to form a protein complex. Some naturally occurring proteins have a relatively small number of subunits and therefore described as oligomeric, for example hemoglobin or DNA polymerase.

An example of dissolution of a gas in a solid is the solubility of hydrogen gas in palladium. In this, hydrogen which is a gas is solute and palladium is solvent.

Amol Gùpta 6 years, 7 months ago

Thanks yogita

Yogita Ingle 6 years, 7 months ago

In case a solid solution is formed between two substances (one having very large particles and the other having very small particles), an interstitial solid solution will be formed. For example, a solution of hydrogen in palladium is a solid solution in which the solute is a gas.

nitric acid being a strong oxidising agent oxidises most aniline to form tarry oxidation product.

Amol Gùpta 6 years, 7 months ago

If direct nitration of aniline is carried, in the presence of these acids, aniline gets protonated to form anilinium ion, which is meta-directing so nitration of aniline gives meta derivative along with ortho and para.

Gaurav Seth 6 years, 7 months ago

(H2SO4 + HNO3) easily oxidized aniline into tarry complex product due to high e- density on the benzene ring of aniline.

For direct nitration of aniline, nitration mixture is prepared which consists of H2SO4 and HNO3, both being acids. Aniline is a base. When they react acid base neutralization takes place and salt is formed.

Gaurav Seth 6 years, 7 months ago

(a) The self inductance is defined on the magnetic flux linked with the coil when unit current flows through it. The self inductance is defined as the emf induced in the coil, when the rate of change of current in the coil is 1 ampere/second. The SI unit of self inductance is henry (H).
