संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघ की स्थापना 1945 में हुई थी।उस समय एशिया और अफ्रीका के अधिकांशं देश गुलामी का दंश झेल रहे थे।उस समय मात्र 51देश इसके सदस्य थे।आज सभी देश स्वतंत्र है। वर्तमान में इसकी सदस्य संख्या 193 हो गई है।अतः इस बदलते परिवेश में संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघ को अधिक शक्तिशाली और प्रासंगिक बनाया जाना चाहिए। इसी को देखते हुए 2005 में निम्न कदम संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघ द्वारा उठाए गए-

  1. यदि कोई राष्ट्र अपने नागरिकों को अत्याचारों से बचाने में असफल हो जाए, तो उन नागरिकों को अत्याचार से बचाने का दायित्व विश्व के सभी देशों का हो, इस बात की स्वीकृति दी जाए।
  2. हर प्रकार के आतंकवाद की निंदा की जाएगी।
  3. ट्रस्टीशिप काउंसिल (न्यासिता परिषद्) को समाप्त करने पर सहमति।
  4. सहस्राब्दि विकास लक्ष्य (मिलेनियम डेवेलपमेंट गोल्स) को प्राप्त करने पर सहमति की जाए।

Bangle making one of the most Industries to work in. There are quite a few health hazardous associated with it. First of all workers work in badly lit conditions by the light of oil lamps. They spend long hours working in the near darkness thereby, losing their eyesight as the years go by. Second the process of industry such as glass blowing and welding invalue being exposed to high temperature. This leads to heat stress, where the body is under stressed from heat. Since bangle making does not bring enough money . People who work in the bangle industry do not have access to proper food. Finally children are employed in this industry which means all they problem they have impact on the next generation.
