    विशिष्ट खेल कार्यक्रम: विशिष्ट खेल प्रतियोगिताओं से अभिप्राय, खेल प्रतियोगिताओं से अलग कार्यक्रमों का उद्देश्य जैसे समाज में एकता, स्वास्थ्य तथा बीमारियों से बचाव, स्वास्थ्य तथा बीमारियों के बारे में जागृति लाना तथा धर्मार्थ संस्थानों के लिए धन संचय करना होता है।

    विशिष्ट खेल कार्यक्रम:

    1. खेल दिवस: विद्यालयो द्वारा प्रत्येक वर्ष बच्चों के सर्वागीण विकास के लिए खेल दिवस का आयोजन किया जाता है। खेल दिवस के उद्घाटन या समापन समारोह में विद्यार्थियों द्वारा विशेष प्रदर्शन जैसे डम्बल, मास पी. टी. लेजियम, पिरामिड, एरोबिक, नृत्य व गायन तथा योगासन का प्रदर्शन भी किया जाता है। खेल दिवस से भविष्य की प्रतियोगिताओं के लिए उत्कृष्ट खिलाड़ियों के चयन का अवसर मिलता है।
    2. स्वास्थ्य दौड़: इन दौड़ों का आयोजन स्वास्थ्य विभाग, खेल विभाग या सामाजिक संगठनों द्वारा कराया जाता है। इनका मूल उद्देश्य राष्ट्र में स्वास्थ्य के स्तर में वृद्धि करना होता है। इन दौड़ों के लिए विधि तथा समय काफी पहले ही निर्धारित हो जाता है जिसके लिए धावक या प्रतियोगी को पंजीकरण पहले ही करवाना होता है। इसमें आयु सीमा निर्धारित नहीं होती लेकिन कुछ स्वास्थ्य सम्बन्धी सावधानियाँ बरती जाती है।
    3. रन फॉर फन: अधिक से अधिक संख्या में लोगों को स्वास्थ्य एवं क्षमता के साथ हैल्थी एंड फिट रहने के संदेश को फैलाने के उद्देश्य के साथ आयोजित किए जाते है। इन दौड़ों के दौरान उछल कूद व आनन्द करना मुख्य होता है। इसका एक उद्देश्य होता है वह है दान या खैरात के लिए निधि अर्जित करना।

    विशिष्ठ कारणों के लिए दौड़: विशिष्ठ कारणों के लिए दौड़ वह दौड़ होती है, जो अच्छे श्रेष्ठ व उदार कारणों से सम्बन्धित होती है। इसका उद्देश्य विशिष्ठ कार्य के लिए फंड अर्जित करना भी होता है लेकिन कारण अच्छा होना चाहिए। इसका आयोजन प्राय: सामाजिक संगठन ही करते है। दौड़ को आकर्षक बनाने के लिए इसमें जाने-माने खिलाड़ियों, कलाकारों, अभिनेताओं, जानी-मानी हस्तियों के भाग लेने का प्रयास किया जाता है।

    एकता के लिए दौड़: इसका उद्देश्य विभिन्न धर्मो के लोगों में शान्ति, शक्ति व एकता स्थापित करना होता है। इसका उद्देश्य राष्ट्रीय एकता, अन्तरराष्ट्रीय एकता, भाईचारा बढ़ाना भी हो सकता है। इस दौड़ के दौरान सभी वर्ग अपने में एकता महसूस करते है।
