In p-nitrophenol there is intermolecular hydrogen bonding whereas in o-nitrophenol there is intramolecular hydrogen bonding; as intermolecular hydrogen bonding is stronger, the electron density in the hydrogen attached to the oxygen is pulled by the oxygen of another molecule and hence that hydrogen becomes more acidic (note that if a hydrogen attached to a molecule is more acidic the molecule is said to be more acidic)

Inspite of the Soviet economy growing at a rapid pace after the Second World War, people were growing wary of the Soviet system and began opposing it in later years. This was because of the following reasons:
- Since the state controlled all factors of production, the Soviet system became very bureaucratic and authoritarian making life difficult for the citizens
- Democracy and freedom of speech was denied to the people
- The Communist Party of Soviet Union controlled all institutions and it was not accountable to the people

Henry's law states that at a constant temperature, the amount of a gas that dissolves in a liquid is directly proportional to the partial pressure of that gas in equilibrium with that liquid. It was formulated by William Henry in 1803.
Henry's Law can be expressed as a simple equation: Concentration of a gas in liquid phase = A constant × Partial pressure of that gas in the gas phase , or, for convenience, C liq = K × P gas. The constant, K, is referred to herein as the Henry's Law constant and is a unique characteristic of every gas.

Yes, there is no doubt that benzene is highly unsaturated but despite of this feature it does not gives addition reaction because in benzene ring the double bonds are present at every C atom due to dislocation of pi electrons . As a result of which C-H bond becomes strong which can not be broken easily.
