Town Planning: The discovery of the Sumerian city of Ur has shed light on the lives of the early Mesopotamians. The Mesopotamian cities fell short in terms of town planning as compared to the Harappan centres but followed a uniform pattern nevertheless. The city was divided into three parts - the sacred area, the walled city on a mound and the outer town. The sacred area consisted of the temple tower or the ziggurat dedicated to the patron god of the city. There were also smaller temples of other gods. This area also had the storehouse as well as the offices. People resided in the walled city and the outer town areas. Houses were constructed along the streets, and each house had a central courtyard with rooms attached around it.

- Reality is what happens in our real world and not what we think. For example if it is raining, the reality is that it is raining.
- However, someone can give what is really happening a blind eye because maybe it is too tough.
- When someone created a world of his own and lets their mind roam in that world rather than the real world, then that shall be reffered to as a temporary refuge from reality.
- Reality is here to stay, it is what happens, so one can only stay out of reality in fantasy for a while which is temporary.

Local Area Network (LAN): A LAN is a system of interlinked personal computers in a localized area, typically under 1 km across. LANs normally operate within a compact area such as an office building or a campus owned by the using organization. The configuration of a LAN can be a star, a ring or; simple devices attached along a length of cable. In LAN, transmission channels used are coaxial or fibre optic cable and special interface units rather than telephone lines and modems. Thus, the transmission speed is very high. The attached computers may be of different types and performing a variety of functions such as data processing, word processing and electronic mail.
