The peddler was a lonely man who looked like a beggar. He was a homeless wanderer who used to sell rattraps. Once he knocked the door of a crofter who was equally lonely like him for a night stay. He was received by the crofter warmly and cheerfully. Crofter was proud of his cow that gave him enough milk. So he told the peddler about the thirty kronors he got by selling the milk of the cow and he used to keep his money in a leather pouch that hung from a nail in the window frame. He felt that the peddler did not believe him so he showed the money to convince him. Having stolen the money, the peddler didn?t find it safe to walk along the public highway. So he went through the woods and got lost. Here, he thought that the whole world was a rattrap and the money he had stolen was a bait and he himself was trapped in it. Later, he regretted for stealing the crofter?s money so much so that when Edia invited him for Christmas, he returned the stolen money to her.

Initially the stranger declined the ironmaster’s invitation. He had the stolen thirty kronors on him and thought it was like going into the lion’s den. But then he accepted the ironmaster’s invitation because Edla’s sympathy and compassion allayed his fears and her friendly manner made him to have confidence in her.

When the ironmaster failed to persuade the stranger to accompany home he sent his daughter Edla Williamansson to bring him home.
She went to the stranger and lifted his hat and told that she was Edla.
She said, “I am so sorry captain, that you are having such a hard time.” She looked at him mercifully and assured, that he would be allowed to leave them just as freely as he had come. She requested to stay with them over Christmas Eve. Her friendly manners aroused confidence in the peddler and he accepted his invitation.

The peddler of rattraps had a habit of visualising the world as a giant rattrap which people he knew fall prey to. While travelling one day , he takes shelter at the house of an old man who gives him supper and shows him kind hospitality. He shows the peddler the money that he had recently earned by selling the milk of his cow. Afterwards when the peddler gives in to his greed and steals the money when the old man is absent, he realises that he has been trapped himself. Later in the night, he is again sheltered at the house of the ironmaster at the Ramsjo mills by his daughter. The ironmaster at first had mistaken him for an army captain he knew, but when he realizes his mistake he expresses his suspicion of him being a thief. The peddler proves his suspicions wrong in a letter he writes to the daughter, where he returns the money of the old man. In the letter, he confesses that at the ironmaster's place, he was again tempted by the world's rattrap but this time he had managed to escape it.

The automotive industry in the United States began in the 1890s and, as a result of the size of the domestic market and the use of mass production, rapidly evolved into the largest in the world. Cars came into global use during the 20th century, and developed economies depend on them. The year 1886 is regarded as the birth year of the modern car when German inventor Karl Benz patented his Benz Patent-Motorwagen. Cars became widely available in the early 20th century.

Advantages Of Sexual Reproduction Over Asexual Reproduction
- There is diversity in the genetic makeup of the individuals produced by sexual reproduction.
- Since both the parents are involved, the newly formed individuals have the attributes of both.
- Variations are more successful in sexual mode than in asexual one.
- The species produced by sexual reproduction survive more than those produced by asexual reproduction. This is because genetic variations help them to adapt to different environments.

Liberalism is a political and moral philosophy based on liberty, consent of the governed and equality before the law. Liberalism became a distinct movement in the Age of Enlightenment, when it became popular among Western philosophers and economists. Liberal democracy emphasises the separation of powers, an independent judiciary and a system of checks and balances between branches of government. Liberal democracies are likely to emphasise the importance of the state being a Rechtsstaat, i.e. a state that follows the principle of rule of law.

The kilowatt-hour (symbolized kWh) is a unit of energy equivalent to one kilowatt (1kW) of power expended for one hour (1h) of time. The kilowatt-hour is not a standard unit in any formal system, but it is commonly used in electrical applications. Kilowatt - hour is the commercial unit of electrical energy. We have seen that power is the rate of energy consumed or delivered. If 1 joule of energy is used per second, we say that energy is used at the rate of 1 watt. A kilowatt hour (kWh) is a measure of how much energy you're using. It is simply a unit of measurement that equals the amount of energy you would use if you kept a 1,000 watt appliance running for an hour: So if you switched on a 100 watt light bulb, it would take 10 hours to rack up 1 kWh of energy.
