A beast is an animal — and usually not a gentle or attractive one. You can also call a person a beast when they're behaving in a crude, savage, or horrible way. There are many types of beast in the world: dogs, cats, horses, monkeys, birds, and fish are all beasts.

A jagir was a type of feudal land grant in the Indian subcontinent at the foundation of its Jagirdar (Zamindar) system. It developed during the Islamic rule era of the Indian subcontinent, starting in the early 13th century, wherein the powers to govern and collect tax from an estate was granted to an appointee of the state. The tenants were considered to be in the servitude of the jagirdar. There were two forms of jagir, one being conditional and the other unconditional. The conditional jagir required the governing family to maintain troops and provide their service to the state when asked. The land grant was called iqta, usually for a holder's lifetime, and the land reverted to the state upon the death of the jagirdar.
The jagirdar system was introduced by the Delhi Sultanate,[2] and continued during the Mughal Empire, but with a difference. In the Mughal times, the jagirdar collected taxes which paid his salary and the rest to the Mughal treasury, while the administration and military authority was given to a separate Mughal appointee. After the collapse of Mughal Empire, the system of jagirs was retained by Rajput, Jat, Saini and Sikh jat kingdoms, and later in a form by the British East India Company.

In 1600, a group of English businessmen asked Elizabeth I for a royal charter that would let them voyage to the East Indies on behalf of the crown in exchange for a monopoly on trade. The merchants put up nearly 70,000 pounds of their own money to finance the venture, and the East India Company was born. Concerned that the English were falling behind to the Dutch on these new trading routes, on the 31st December 1600 Queen Elizabeth I granted over 200 English merchants the right to trade in the East Indies.

Reference maps show the location of geographic boundaries, physical features of Earth, or cultural features such as places, cities, and roads. Political maps, physical maps, road maps, topographic maps, time zone maps, geologic maps, and zip code maps are all examples of reference maps. Physical maps show natural features such as mountains, lowlands, major rivers, seas, oceans and ecosystems like deserts and rainforests on a global scale. On a national scale, physical maps show relief and drainage features, such as rivers. Some maps show physical features that are experienced rather than seen.

Different individuals have different chances. Selection of variants by environmental factors forms the basis for evolutionary processes. These variations may lead to increased survival advantages of the individuals due to positive adoption of traits or may merely contribute to the genetic drift. Variants help the species to survive in all the conditions. Environmental conditions such as heat, light, pests, and food availability can change suddenly at only one place. If variants were not there, the entire species would have been destroyed.

False, the given pair of linear equations
x-2y-8=0
5x-10y=c
But if c = 40 (real value), then the ratio c1/c2 becomes 1/5 and then the system of linear equations has an infinitely many solutions.
Hence, ate = 40, the system of linear equations does not have a unique solution.

For n = 1 ,
p(k) is true
Let for n = k ,p(k) is true
For n = k+1:
(k+1)(k+2)(k+3)
k(k+1)(k+2)(k+3)/k divisible by 6
So by mathematical induction , statement is true for all n€N

Oil and water from their mixture can be separated by decantation process. If a mixture of oil and water is allowed to stand for sometime, they form two separate layers. The component that forms the top layer i.e. oil can then be separated by decantation.
