Yeast are useful for fermentation of rice idli and dosa batter . It also promotes the formation of curd and bread. Microorganisms like yeasts are also used for the large scale production of alcohol and acetic acid. I think this answer would be better for your question. ??

Yeast is used as a raising agent in baking. Most commonly used yeast is Saccharomyces cerevisiae. It is due to the action of yeast that the dough rises, if you leave it for sometime adding yeast to it during kneading.

Subject : Increasing Dependence on Coaching Institutions

Sir

Through the columns of your reputed newspaper I wish to draw the attention of the general public towards the increasing dependence of students on the coaching institutes. It has generally been observed that students rely more on coaching institutions than on schools. The reason behind this is that these centres are easily accessible and more practice-based. On the other hand, schools prepare students only for the Board Exams and not for the entrance exams.

This trend can be checked by ensuring that teaching in the school classroom is not just limited to board-oriented syllabus. They must prepare students for competitive exams also. Schools must provide more practice-material to the students. The environment of the classroom should be such that the students get interested in studies.

Teachers should pay attention to the individual problems.

I hope you will publish this letter in your newspaper so that the concerned authorities become aware of their shortcomings and do the needful.

Thanking you

Yours sincerely

Arun

When a simple pendulum makes 10 oscillations in 20 seconds, the time taken for each oscillation = 20/10 = 2 seconds.
Hence, as the time period is calculated to be 2 seconds, the frequency of oscillation = 1/T = 1/ 2 = 0.5 Hertz.
Therefore, the frequency of that pendulum is found to be 0.5 Hz.

Prachi Saxena 5 years, 1 month ago (9994304)

After its independence in August 1947, India faced huge challenges. Some of the major challenges are as follows:

  • After partition, 8 million refugees had come from Pakistan. Rehabilitation of these refugees was a big challenge.
  • There were about 500 hundred princely states; which needed to be assimilated into the country.
  • The huge population of India was divided along caste and communal lines. The country had always been a diverse one with numerous cultures.
  • The economy was totally dependent on agriculture; which was dependent on the monsoon. A large number of factory workers were poor and were living in slums. The nation was in abject poverty.
