Like DNA, RNA (ribonucleic acid) is essential for all known forms of life. RNA monomers are also nucleotides. Unlike DNA, RNA in biological cells is predominantly a single-stranded molecule. While DNA contains deoxyribose, RNA contains ribose, characterised by the presence of the 2'-hydroxyl group on the pentose ring. This hydroxyl group make RNA less stable than DNA because it is more susceptible to hydrolysis. RNA contains the unmethylated form of the base thymine called uracil.

- Social change is inevitable in social life and relationship.
- Evolutionary theories views society as moving in a definite direction and cause changes.
- Social changes may occur in the internal or external aspects of the structure of society.
External change refers to changes in forms of family, marriage, class, caste and kinship etc.
- Internal changes refer to changes in the norms and values of the society.
- The rate of change of internal aspects is always slow because the social norms, values and belief gradually become part of the core of personality.

Consequences of Migration
Economic consequences
– A major economic benefit of migration is the remittance sent by migrants
– Remittance from the international migration are one of the major source of foreign exchange
– In 2002, India received US$ 11 billion as remittance from international migrants
– Punjab, Kerela, Tamil Nadu receive very important amount from their international migrants
– Remittance amount play an important role in the growth of economy
– Remittances are mainly used for food, repayment of debts, treatment, marriages,
children’s education, agricultural inputs, construction of houses, etc
– It works as a life blood economy for thousand of poor villages of Bihar, UP, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh
Some of the drawbacks of migration are
(i) unregulated migration to the cities has caused overcrowding
(ii) development of slums in industrially developed states such as Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Delhi
Demographic consequences
It leads to the redistribution of the population within a country
Rural-urban migration contribute to the population growth of cities
Adverse effect on the rural demographic structure i e on age and skill selective
Out- migration create imbalance in age and *** composition Eg in Uttaranchal, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Eastern Maharashtra
Social consequences
Migrants acts as agents of social change
New technology, family planning, girl’s education etc get diffused from Urban-Rural areas
It leads to intermixing of people from diverse culture
Drawbacks of migration are
(i) It create anonymity which creates social vaccum and sense of dejection among individuals
(ii) Dejection may motivate people to fall in the trap of anti-social activities like crime and drug abuse
Environmental consequences
Overcrowding of people due to rural-urban migration leads to unplanned growth of urban settlement
Formation of slums shanty colonies
Over exploitation of natural resources leads to acute problem of depletion of ground water, air pollution, disposal of sewage and management of solid wastes
Other consequences
Migration affects the status of women directly or indirectly
Male selective out migration leaving their wives behind puts extra physical as well mental pressure on the women

To Factorise : x2−22x+117
By splitting the middle term
= x2−13x−9x+117
= x(x−13)−9(x−13)
=(x−9)(x−13)
So, x2−22x+117=(x−9)(x−13)

Dmitri Ivanovich Mendeleev, a Russian scientist arranged the elements in increasing order of their relative atomic masses. He was honoured with Noble prize in 1906 for his Periodic Table.
Mendeleev’s Periodic Law states that the properties of elements are the periodic function of their relative atomic masses.
Mendeleev arranged all 63 elements; which were discovered till his time; in the order of their increasing relative atomic masses in a tabular form. It is known as Mendeleev’s Periodic Table. He divided the table in eight columns and seven rows. The columns are known as groups and rows are known as periods.
- Elements are arranged in the periodic table in the increasing order of their relative atomic masses.
- Mendeleev divided his periodic table in eight groups and seven periods.
- Groups from I to VII are meant for normal elements and group VIII is for transition elements.
- Groups from I to VII have been divided in two sub groups, while group VIII is meant for three elements.
- Periods from 4th to 7th have been divided in two series: 1st series and 2nd series.
- Elements having similar properties have been kept in the same group. For example; lithium, potassium, rubidium, etc. are in 1st group.

To Factorise : x2−21x+90
By splitting the middle term
=x2−6x−15x+90
=x(x−6)−15(x−6)
=(x−6)(x−15)
So, x2−21x+90=(x−6)(x−15)

The history of geography includes many histories of geography which have differed over time and between different cultural and political groups. In more recent developments, geography has become a distinct academic discipline. 'Geography' derives from the Greekγεωγραφία – geographia,[1] a literal translation of which would be "to describe or write about the Earth". The first person to use the word "geography" was Eratosthenes (276–194 BC).

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) store, analyze, and visualize data for geographic positions on Earth’s surface. GIS is a computer-based tool that examines spatial relationships, patterns, and trends. By connecting geography with data, GIS better understands data using a geographic context.
The 4 main ideas of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) are:
- Create geographic data.
- Manage it in a database.
- Analyze and find patterns.
- Visualize it on a map.

Fossil fuels are the fuels formed by natural processes such as decomposition of dead and buried organisms.
Fossil fuels are buried flammable geologic deposits of organic substances such as dead plants, and animals that got deposited under several thousand feet of silt. These deposits decayed with the passage of time and got converted to natural gas, coal, and petroleum due to the extreme heat and pressure inside the earth’s crust. They are also known as non-renewable sources of energy as it takes a very long time for it to replenish.

The French Revolutionwas a revolution inFrance from 1789 to 1799. The French Revolution led to the end of the monarchy, and to many wars. King Louis XVI was executed in 1793.
CAUSES
The financial strain of servicing old debt and the excesses of the current royal court caused dissatisfaction with the monarchy, contributed to national unrest, and culminated in the French Revolution of 1789.
GOALS OF THIS REVOLUTION
The goal was to change the system, and get food back into citizens' mouths. The goal was to get rid of the monarchy and found a system powered by the people. The main goal of the French Revolution was, obviously, to overthrow the French monarchy.
PURPOSE
When the French Revolutionbroke out in 1789, its main purpose was to address the financial problems of the regime. The numerous wars of the eighteenth century in which France was involved, e.g. the French and Indian War, had caused the government to spend more than it received in revenue.
