Average Profit Method: Under this method goodwill is calculated on the basis of the average profit of previous years. The average profit is multiplied by the number of year’s purchase.

Goodwill = Average Profit x Number of Years Purchase

Example: Calculate goodwill at twice the average profits of last four years’ profits. The profits of the last four years were:

  1. Rs. 27,000

  2. Rs. 39,000

  3. Rs. 16,000 (Loss)

  4. Rs. 40,000

Solution: Total Profit for last four years = Rs. 27,000+ Rs. 39,000-Rs. 16,000+Rs. 40,000 = Rs. 80,000

Average Profit = Rs. 80,000/4 = Rs. 20,000.

Goodwill = Rs. 20,000 x 2 = Rs. 40,000.

2x2 -7 x+3=0

2x2 -6x - 1x +3=0

2x ( x - 3) - 1( x- 3) = 0

(x - 3)(2x - 1) = 0

x - 3 = 0 or 2x - 1 = 0

x = 3 or x = 1/2

She says so because people don't bother about listening to the feelings of pain and happiness. Anne didn't find anybody to share her feelings at the times of distress. So, She wanted to write to get everything off of her chest thinking that the paper has more patience than people.

The literal meaning of ‘Prohibition’ is ‘To forbid.’ A court that is higher in position issues a Prohibition writ against a court that is lower in position to prevent the latter from exceeding its jurisdiction or usurping a jurisdiction that it does not possess. It directs inactivity.

Facts about Prohibition in India:

Development of an embryo inside the female body : The zygote formed after fertilization in the fallopian tubes is implanted in the uterus. The uterus is also known as the womb. Here, the zygote divides to form an embryo, which develops into a foetus.

The outer-thin layer is known as the perimetrium.

The middle layer is thick and is made up of smooth muscles. It is known as the myometrium. These muscles contract strongly during the delivery of a baby.

The inner layer lines the uterine cavity, which has many glands and is known as the endometrium. It thickens every month and is supplied with blood to nourish the embryo. It undergoes cyclic changes during the menstrual cycle.

Shruti ? 5 years ago (9554162)

Fertilisation results in the formation of zygote which begins to develop to an embryo. Zygote divides repeatedly to give rise to a ball of cells. The cells then begin to form groups which develop into different tissues and organs of the body. This developing structure is termed an embryo. The embryo gets embedded in the wall of the uterus. The embryo continues to develop in the uterus. It gradually forms body parts such has hands, legs, eyes, head, etc. The stage of the embryo in which all the body parts can be identified is know as foetus. When the development of the foetus is complete, the mother gives birth to the baby

There have been varied responses to both cases. Many people have condemned the incidents without any riders. However, there are several others who, in some way, try to justify the violence. While one section is openly casteist, hailing Maruthi Rao, the first accused in Pranay's murder, as a hero, there is another section that is taking refuge in the "parental love" angle to hide their own bigotry.

This latter section typically considers itself "broad-minded" and may issue several disclaimers - of not believing in violence and casteism - before getting into the whataboutery. This section looks at the violence as a consequence of extreme parental grief, arising out of the Dalit men having "deprived" the families of their daughters whom they had "cherished" all these years. Moreover, the women were "too young" to elope and marry someone their families consider unsuitable. Facebook Live streams of many Telugu channels on these two stories are full of comments by people questioning the women for having gone against their parents who had supposedly brought them up lovingly, with many dreams for their future.
