Maddie was a kind and compassionate American girl. She joined other girls in teasing Wanda. But she really didn’t like teasing others. She wanted to stop Peggy from teasing Wanda. But she could not gather courage as she was afraid of Peggy. She feared Peggy could make her the next victim. She considered herself to be guiltier for remaining silent. When Wanda left the school, she felt very restless and could not sleep at night. She went to Wanda’s house to say sorry and decided not to remain silent if anybody was being teased for their poor dress or funny name. She would speak up. She was even ready to sacrifice her friendship with Peggy.

Garbage is thought to have come into English through medieval Anglo-French cookery books. By the late 16th Century, it referred to the waste parts of an animal, such as the internal organs, head and feet, which were normally thrown away rather than consumed. Rubbish is defined as garbage or something thrown away, or worthless ideas. An example of rubbish is a pair of smelly old sneakers that are full of holes.

India a federal country because of the following reasons:

  • There are levels of governments—Central Government, State Government and Local Government.
  • Each level of government administers over the same region, but they have their own jurisdiction in matters of administration, taxation and legislation.
  • The Government at each level derives its power from the Constitution of the country. Thus, the Central Government cannot easily dilute the powers of the State or Local Governments.
  • The basic principles of the Constitution and the rights given to the people cannot be changed by only one tier of the Government. It requires the consent of governments at both levels.
  • Both levels of the Government can collect taxes from the people according to the guidelines of the Constitution of the country.
  • The Indian Constitution contains three lists which contain subjects in which the Union and the State Governments may form laws. Only central government can make laws in the Union List and state government in the state list. Subjects related to the interests of both Central and State Governments are included in the concurrent list.

A molecule is defined as the smallest unit of a compound that contains the chemical properties of the compound. Molecules are made up of groups of atoms. Describing the structure of an atom, an atom is also sub-divided into smaller units. Protons, electrons, and neutrons are sub-particles of an atom. The protons and neutrons are contained inside the nucleus of the atom and electrons revolve around the nucleus.

Protons are positively charged particles whereas electrons are negatively charged particles. Neutrons do not carry any charge. So we can say that the nucleus is positively charged due to the presence of protons. The nucleus is a bulk mass at the centre of an atom. Atoms are largely vacant.
