Einstein is remembered as a “world citizen” because of his efforts towards world peace and democracy. He was concerned about the consequences of the atomic bomb. He even wrote a public missive to the United Nations and proposed the formation of a world government to control the use of nuclear weapons. This shows him as a world citizen who was concerned about humanity.

Hint: Here we are given the ratio of girls and boys. So, we assume boys and girls as 7x and 5x respectively and then make an equation from the given condition. And after solving that equation we will get the value of x.

Complete step-by-step answer:

As we know that the ratio of the number of boys and girls in the class is given as 7 : 5.
So, if the number of boys in a class were 7x.
Then the number of girls should be 5x. Because their ratio is given as 7 : 5.
So, the strength of the class will be = number of boys in class + number of girls in class = 7x + 5x = 12x.
Now, we know that it is given in the question that the number of boys is 8 more than the number of girls.
So,
7x – 5x = 8
<nobr aria-hidden="true"></nobr><script type="math/tex" id="MathJax-Element-1">\Rightarrow</script> 2x = 8
On dividing both sides of the above equation by 2, we get,
<nobr aria-hidden="true"></nobr><script type="math/tex" id="MathJax-Element-2">\Rightarrow</script> x = 4
So, the number of boys should be equal to 7x =7*4 = 28.
Number of girls will be equal to 5x = 5*4 = 20
And the strength of the class will be 12x = 12*4 = 48.
Hence, the correct option will be A.

Note: Whenever we come up with this type of where we are given the ratio of boys and girls then we assume the number of boys and girls in terms of a variable x. Like if the ratio is a : b then if the number of boys is ax then the number of girls should be bx. And after that we make an equation from the given condition like here boys are 8 more than girls. On solving this equation, we will get the value of x. And after putting the value of x in the number of boys and girls we will get the number of boys and girls in class. So, the total strength of the class will be the sum of that.

Indian nationalism developed as a concept during the Indian independence movement which campaigned for independence from British rule. Indian nationalism is an instance of territorial nationalism, which is inclusive of all of the people of India, despite their diverse ethnic, linguistic and religious backgrounds. It continues to strongly influence the politics of India and reflects an opposition to the sectarian strands of Hindu nationalism and Muslim nationalism.

India has been unified under many emperors and governments in history. Ancient texts mention India under emperor Bharata and Akhand Bharat, these regions roughly form the entities of modern-day greater India. The Mauryan Empire was the first to unite all of India, and South Asia (including much of Afghanistan). In addition, much of India has also been unified under a central government by empires, such as the Gupta Empire, Rashtrakuta Empire, Pala Empire, Mughal Empire, Vijayanagara Empire, Maratha Empire, British Indian Empire, etc.

Nationalism spreads when people begin to believe that they are all part of the same nation, when they discover some unity that binds them together. The united struggles for independence helped in building the sense of collective belonging. Additionally, a variety of cultural processes also captured the spirit of nationalism.

Nation Depicted in Images: The identity of the nation is most often symbolised in a figure or image; with which people can identify the nation. The image of Bharat Mata was the pictorial representation of the mother land. ‘Vande Mataram’ the national song was written by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay in 1870s. This was sung during the Swadeshi movement in Bengal. Different artists projected their own version of Bharat Mata.

Folklores: Many nationalist leaders took help of folk tales to spread the idea of nationalism. It was believed that the folk tales revealed the true picture of traditional culture.

National Flag: The national flag which we see today has evolved through various stages. A tricolor (red, green and yellow) was used during the Swadeshi movement. There were eight lotuses on it which depicted the eight provinces of British India. There was a crescent moon on the flag which represented Hindus and Muslims. Gandhji had designed the Swaraj flag by 1921. It was also a tricolor (red, green and white) and there was a spinning wheel in the centre.

Reinterpretation of History: Many Indians felt that the British had given a different interpretation of the Indian history. They felt that it was important to interpret the history from an Indian perspective. They wanted to glorify the rich past of India so that the Indians could feel proud of their history.

Physiology is the study of how the human body works. It describes the chemistry and physics behind basic body functions, from how molecules behave in cells to how systems of organs work together. Human physiology is the science of the mechanical, physical, and biochemical function of humans, and serves as the foundation of modern medicine. As a discipline, it connects science, medicine, and health, and creates a framework for understanding how the human body adapts to stresses, physical activity, and disease.

Gaurav Seth 5 years ago (2898529)

Human physiology is the science of how the human body functions in health and disease.

It examines human physiological systems from the molecular and cellular levels to the human body as a whole. This area of study uses basic science to measure human responses to internal and external stimuli (such as changes in activity levels, varying environmental conditions, and disease processes), and applies this knowledge to the promotion of human health.

What is ******???

Shreya Jha 5 years ago (9490059)

Firstly the male's produced sperm enters the female body and tries to enter into the egg produced by the female reproductive parts , the egg is also called ova , when the sperms enters into the female body through ****** then these few sperms try to fuse with the egg (ova) . The unhealthy sperms dies and the healthy sperm gets fused with the egg .these sperms have 23 chromosomes in it , which carries the DNA ,which decides the sexual characteristics of the baby . sometimes not only 1 sperm gets fused with the egg instead 2 or 3 sperms fuse with the egg ,So twins or triplets are born in such cases . the fertilisation of egg and sperms take place in fallopian tube and then a single cell zygote is formed . then this cell keeps on dividing and after sometime a foetus is formed (developed baby structure ) inside the uterus of female and its comes out through ****** at the time of birth . hope this helps!!!!

Meghna Thapar 5 years ago (6237)

The female reproductive system is designed to carry out several functions. It produces the female egg cells necessary for reproduction, called the ova or oocytes. The system is designed to transport the ova to the site of fertilization. During ***, sperm cells travel through the ****** to the uterus and fallopian tubes. In the fallopian tube, the sperm meets the egg that was released from the ovary during ovulation.

Courtship in the olden days was nothing like what it is now. Proposal had to be sent very formally through the parents and their consent was needed to get married. In the play, we see that Lomov wants to marry Natalia but instead of talking to her directly, he calls her father to ask for her hand in marriage. He arrives dressed in his best clothes and presents himself in the best possible way so that Chubukov may not refuse the proposal. Even when he talks to Natalia, he refrains from saying anything personal.
Relationships need a lot of fuel to keep them strong and healthy. Trust and understanding between both the people is essential to make it successful.

The Rowlatt Act (1919) was passed by the British government despite the united opposition of the Indian members. This Act gave enormous powers to the government to repress political activities and allowed detention of any person without trial for two years.
Gandhiji wanted non-violent civil disobedience against such unjust laws. Rallies were organised in different cities. Alarmed by the popular upsurge, British administration imposed martial law in Amritsar. On 13th April, 1919, General Dyer fired at the innocent people who gathered in Jallianwalla Bagh killing hundreds.
Reaction of People As the news spread, crowds took to the streets and there were strikes, clashes with the police and attacks on government buildings.
